In any case I’m hoping he has a quick recovery. He has a lot of skill and heart and we need him especially come playoffs time. I was concerned with all the ice time he was getting we were playing an injury prone guy far too much but I also understand we need him to be synergistic with the team to add value in post season. Thoughts?
Do we think this trip (non-call) is what lead to his injury?

As much as I hate the Habs, this was purely accidental and in no way a slew foot. That little shove from Matheson caught him off balance and just that little straighten out likely pulled or tore the hamstring.
You could show any clip of him falling down this season and say it led to his injury, and we’d still have no way of actually knowing.
It doesn’t look good the way he way limping there. Looks like a hip injury to the uneducated me.
