Monty got the team to overachieve last season. This season is a case of certain players underachieving. They have to find consistency on those top 6 forwards. The lack of discipline and terrible special teams are big problem areas. Furthermore the N.H.L. is one hard league to win in.
the canucks defense absolutely fell apart. i dont even blame lankinen because who the hell is on the canucks roster management team. i get its the regular season but having two non existent AHL defenders in your third defensive line just pisses me off. lankinen is still going strong with the nucks and hope they can bring back the excitement against the flames on tuesday

New segment idea, similar to TOR parade watch, the Can watch. U check in on a struggling team or 2 till the coach is fired. Max 3 per year. 1 u pick at the pre season start, 1 pick at the 3 week mark, 1 u get to replace if ur correct. My vote would have been WPG pre season, Boston now and pit as the replacement. (Wpg was ovb wrong but thats part of the fun)
