We lose this game 100/100 times in previous seasons. Winning would be a huge sign of growth.

Why do they play in the middle of the day on a weekday?
Maybe they figure playing Sammy against a bad team can help build confidence back. Or Gilbert is hurt or pissed off Lindy & forced them to go back to Sammy.
We will know a lot after the first period. Last year’s Sabres would have been asleep for the 1st 20 and been down 0-2. Hopefully this year’s team gives us the usual quick start. The danger is that Sabres come in cocky against last place team and figure they just have to tie their skates to win.
Anyone by chance have the clip the Sabres play at home games when UPL makes a big save of the European fans doing the UPL chant??

Looks like it’s UPL in today, guess Lindy is riding him while he’s heating up! Good thing I wore the right jersey because I wasn’t sure who would be starting when we left Rochester
