  1. Played a great game without lighting the stat sheet on fire. Encouraging stuff each week from Bryce.

  2. I think the difference between [Bryce Young’s Week 10 passing chart (15/25 & 126yds)](https://nextgenstats.nfl.com/charts/player/season/bryce-young/YOU124763/2024/10/pass) and [Kyler Murray’s (22/24 & 266) is less massive than we think](https://nextgenstats.nfl.com/charts/player/season/kyler-murray/MUR670413/2024/10/pass), and the kinds of plays Canales & Idzik showed off in this film can close the gap: Bryce finding holes underneath, rookie-friendly timing routes that use their physical gifts, and a dangerous running game.

  3. **IF** there is a path forward with Bryce as the winning QB for this franchise, it will be as a game manager for a run first offense where the QB makes clutch throws, and occasionally makes plays with his legs.

I don’t see Bryce as the type of talent to consistently throw ~300 a game and/or carry the offense. But if they continue to develop him and the offense in a run first mold, I can see it happening.

Downside of this is a lot of things will have to go right to consistently win. Same could be said of most winning teams, though.

  4. This play is a bit weird to me. Looks like the combo on the right frees up the drag (Ja’Tavion Sanders) underneath over the middle. When he starts to throw, Sanders is five yards up field and five yards away from the nearest defender.

I guess it’s not wrong if it works.

  5. the yards will come when our young receivers develop into consistent threats. you can’t throw for 300 yards without guys than can catch for 100+. the offense is growing, just give it time.

  6. I’m encouraged but it’s still really cautious because the quality of opponents the last two weeks.

Not saying things don’t look better, because they do, but I’m just not mashing the throttle on getting excited yet.
