  1. Mods are soft as baby shit preventing pictures from being posted. Attached is an article which in summary states Adam’s agreed to the trade with the condition Rodgers returns for the 2025 season.

Considering the dead money tied in cutting Rodgers im ok with it. New coaching staff with actual offensive schemes and a retool. I’m not thinking Super Bowl but have at minimum hope that we can end the playoff drought next year.

  2. Would be a brutal turn of events for Davonte considering he went to the Raiders because of Carr and they kicked him to the curb pretty shortly afterwards

  3. Honestly, I’m fine with it too. But let’s just lose out now, draft a young guy and have him sit behind Rodgers for a year and then go from there. We can pay GW and whoever else we need to with a rookie QB. Hire a great coaching staff, make one run and then plan for the future. This bad year could set us up for success if we can get a QB in the draft and Mahomes/ Alex Smith them next year.

  4. I’m fine with it, as long as we clean house and find a legit GM/HC that commit to fixing the trenches first. Keith Carter couldn’t coach his way out of a wet paper bag and our DL is Charmin soft

  5. Get ready for Rex 2.0, a new OC, and running it back with the same team. 100% convinced it’s happening.

  6. I don’t care about Rodgers, he’s not the problem.. but for the love of god can we go draft some OL and DL help in the draft? Olu played pretty good yesterday when Smith went down, be nice if we had some more youth on the OL and DL who can stuff the run..

  7. Radio talk (Greenie & the Fan) has Mike Vrabel as a possible new coach.

Maybe we can make a new ALL JETS MEME subreddit. I’m clueless how to start one – and am not complaining here as I get why the Mod doesn’t want a flood of meme’s here – but it would be fun. No one more sarcastic than New York Jets Fans!!! LOL

  8. At least we’ll be at the point where a complete rebuild is inevitable after all our talent on rookie contracts bolt.

  9. What’re the odds Hackett stays on staff to some capacity next season? If he does I most definitely will laugh my ass off

  10. They need to let Travis play see where he is at then go from there. if promising don’t draft a QB if not promising draft a QB. Sad to say I think we are fucked either way we need all new coaches and I mean all new coaches fire them all.

  11. Can’t take anyone’s word for stuff; we took Hassick’s word & he screwed us; so we gave our word to Adams and we screwed him; the way I see it, now it’s Adams’s turn to screw someone else! LMAO!!

  12. Gonna be a rebuild year either way. As long as we stop trading away future assets for aging stars I can live with it

  13. I think this was always the plan. Rodgers to play 1 more year, Jordan Travis to be QB2 next year and hopefully give the staff some idea on whether he’s a viable option moving forward.

The HC and likely GM changes coming are the bigger thing I’m less certain about.

  14. Odds are Woody will fuck off to England again and there will be an entirely new front office and staff of decisions makers. Hopefully this kind of shit is 1. Not accurate and 2. Not forced onto a new regime bc when stipulations like that come into effect, you’re going to lose out on higher quality candidates (not that any of them want this job anyway)

  15. It was pretty clear with his restructured deal the Jets were gonna run it back with Rodgers in 2025. Which to be honest if they bring in a new GM and a competent coaching staff isn’t a terrible idea.

The Jets aren’t a quick fix away from being good but at the same time their defense is what needs major fixing not their offense. We saw them go from the league’s worst defense to an elite one between 2021 and 2022.

  16. Fine with our player personnel if we clean house GM/coaching wise this offseason. We need to lose games now though – the higher pick the better.

  17. Great. I see this year and who’s in charge and think, man let’s do it again but everyone is a year older.
