With that being said, 40-42. Snag the 8-9 seed, and pray for whatever team gets annihilated by the play-in hawks.
“Yeah we aren’t winning shit this year so buckle up”
Lol, I mean fair enough
Hopefully “players agree” just means trae is fine with it lol
Do we really think Trae “agrees” with this lol
This year should be identifying our best assets and where we don’t have the best pieces. Right now, its no doubt that our Center position is of the greatest need but last year we also had a need for wings. Dyson and Zach have fit that need and now we need to focus on getting an elite Center. Normally you start with a Center and then build out though. Look at what Dereck Lively II is doing for Dallas.
I mean if everyone is bought in and Trae isn’t gonna ditch us in 2025 then fuck it we ball.
Nothing discounting a ATL UTD style “fuck em all” run.
What is this excerpt from?
As long as a surprise fluke conference finals run doesn’t derail the plan again, I’m fine with this.
Source? What’s this from?
Cool, so are we going to see lower ticket prices then? Or do I genuinely have to pay 50 bucks to see the Hawks play the Wizards? lmao
Oh, so more mid ball for the next 10 seasons…. i was already aware of this
“This season is about the friends we made along the way.”
This would not “make sense” and be the “right mindset” in a more serious market. We’re all quick to blame the Ressler family, but at some point the fingers need to be pointed at a casual fanbase that merely wants to be entertained.
That’s cool and all but I shouldn’t be paying premier money for tickets if the goal isn’t to win.
Well I guess I’ll stop watching until next season
I feel them on this! I don’t really care about the championship lol I just want to watch good basketball. We’re pretty far from realistic contenders so I don’t know how anyone who is only focused on getting a chip stomachs watching this team tbh
For me, this season may be less about buying tickets and more about cultivating a mindset. A mindset of watching the games on methstreams if, when I check on the score, they aren’t losing to a crappy team.
So the mindset is lose to Detroit and then stop playing halfway through the fourth-quarter against Chicago?
they’ve been saying this for the past several years lmao
i do think it’s legit this time though. We have a solid young base. But like others have said, Trae wants to win now. If we’re not improving by the time he has to renew his contract, he’s out.

The rest of the article is also a good read:
