Can he run the bases and play the field like he’s actually sober and functional?
Martian in CF Judge back in RF Soto to DH and sell high on Stanton for a 1B or 2P
He also said the same of Caleb Durbin
Am I the only one that thinks this type of thing could backfire?
A team that’s built around multiple young players (Jdom, Wells, Volpe, Gil, Rice, Durbin etc) has a high upside but also can easily crash and burn if those younger dudes can’t keep it up a whole season. I feel like we’re in bad shape if we lose Soto and our game plan becomes “hope the young dudes play well”, we’ve seen how that can work for the Orioles
As long as he learns to catch fly balls
Flashbacks to when the Yankees appointed Clint Frazier as the Opening Day LF and then took the job away after he had a really bad April.
Teams have inquired…
Should of let him play a game in the world series moron
Said the same thing when he called him up….
Have this kid focus on fielding left field for the entirety of spring training. He has the speed and the tracking to be a decent CF I don’t see why he couldn’t focus on left to finally stop the carousel of left fielders we’ve had the past half decade
Hopefully hit over .240
Like having him on the roster and NEVER EVEN PUTTING HIM IN THE WORLD SERIES?
That kind of big part? Cool.
Hopefully he’s practicing left field. He can always shift to center on Judge’s off days
Good thing they gave him some great experience in the playoffs…
Core 7 incoming
Martian, Judge, Volpe, Wells, Gil, Rice, Durbin
Core 10 includes Lombard, Spencer Jones and Roderick Arias

100% getting traded
So he’ll be up in July.
Yeah they’re going to give Soto an absolute bag
