  1. Perhaps since he has overcome such a huge disaster, he seems to have a tendency to rush through life. Anyway I respect his will and wish him success from Japan.

  2. What on earth do you guys do when there is no baseball ??? 2024 is my first season watching baseball and now you telling me 4 months without baseball ??!??????!?? WHAT IN THE WORLD

  3. As a foreign player, who is extremely young, you can bet Ohtani and Yamamoto are already influencing his decision to become a Dodger. The big city life, the adjustments to a new culture, and a chance to win multiple WS titles. Consider this deal done.

  4. Dodgers fans forget that the Mets have Senga. The Cubs have Imanaga. Not every Japanese players is going to choose the Dodgers just because two have already.

Maybe this guy would prefer to be the main attraction and not play second fiddle to others.

  5. Fans of teams not named the Los Angeles Dodgers… sorry, but Sasaki has made it well knows he wants to play wirh his Senpai Shohei Ohtani… so you all can hope and wish (and even pray) that your team will get him… he's going to be a Dodger and there's nothing you can do about it. Go Dodgers!

  6. Roki Sasaki lost his father and grandparents in the Great East Japan Earthquake when he was a child. It's no wonder that his outlook on life is different from others. I'd like to see him play against Ohtani, and I want him to go to a team other than the Dodgers, because there are too many Japanese players in the Dodgers and it's a bit boring.

  7. Don't overrate him. He should train more at Minor League in America because his body is too thin and too weak. And also he has never won Japan Series, never achieved even anything in Japan.

  8. Unfortunately, as a result of Roki's decision to leave Japan, the impression of him as a "traitor" has been established among the Japanese. The fans of the Chiba Lotte Marines, the team he played for, are also angry at him and the team. Don't expect much business from Japan.

  9. One of the deadliest heater/splitter combos in the world. Durability is a major concern but if a team is patient enough they’ll reap enormous benefits.
