Bednar on Landeskog skating: “I don’t have any thoughts on it. He’s been on and off the ice for two years, ya know? But yeah, it is his first day skating.”

From Bednar's morning presser: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xk2pGFhZRLc&t=205s

In reference to all of the players out that are currently skating, he said he "doesn't get too excited until their jersey's are hanging in their stalls on game night."

  1. Yeah, not a great sign all things considered. I’m still hoping landy gets back but I’d be lying if I said my hope wasn’t wavering

  2. It’s June 2025. The Avs are leading the Stanley Cup finals series 3-2 against the Canes. It’s game 6 at Ball Arena. 3rd period and Avs are 4:2 up. Landy gets on the ice for the last 5 minutes of the game and puts in an empty netter. Everyone goes wild. The Avs lift the cup and so does Landy. After an emotional speech he announces retirement. A new era begins.

  3. Has to be frustrating to see the amount of talent we have off the ice and to loose in some of these games or even just certain possessions and plays time and time again. Hopefully the grit and determination the rest of the team has shown throughout all these games thus far when they return I think we explode.

  4. I will not totally give up on Landy until I see his jersey hanging in the rafters at Ball Arena, but it’s not looking too good.

  5. I love the Avs, but I’m done waiting.
Give that C to someone actually on the ice and let’s move on.
