Glad we didn’t listen to all them fools wanting to draft Caleb Williams and trade Kyler.

  1. If we listened to some of the fools we have on our fan base. We would’ve traded Kyler and kept Dobbs to then move to Caleb. I’ll never forget that narrative. Dumb, just dumb

  2. Trading Kyler and taking Caleb is a foolish take. But to be fair, we probably have one of the best systems for a rookie QB to go to.

  3. Keep in mind that Caleb also has an incredibly talented receiver group. Keenan Allen, a 6x Pro Bowler who just had his best year last year, is like their third or fourth option. They also have Odunze, DJ Moore, and Cole Kmet. Kyler has never had a receiver group that deep and talented.

  4. There is no such thing as guaranteed generational can’t miss QB in the NFL.

Probably Luck was the last one and he got ruined by injuries.
Caleb is playing in a bad offensive scheme but he misses easy throws, hold on the ball too long, and can’t identify defenses. He will get better with new coaching but can’t tell me not everyone is concerned after this year.

  5. As a staunch Kyler supporter, I still understood the take. Kyler was about to make a lot of money, Caleb would be cheap, and was considered a generational talent by many. The dream scenario in modern NFL is to have a generation talent QB on a 5 year rookie scale contract. There was some sense to it even for those like myself who believed in Kyler. That said, it does feel nice to have my faith in Kyler vindicated, and while I’m not rooting against Caleb, seeing him struggle just makes me appreciate Kyler all the more.

  6. You can love K1 and still respect Caleb’s talent though. Caleb is in an absolute rudderless shit show rn. He may prove to be good.

  7. But but we should get Nick Bosa so SF doesn’t get them. Lol what kind of 4d chess were people playing then?

  8. I personally believe fans from other teams, troll the subs to try and build a narrative that we should trade away Kyler Murray, but that’s just me

  9. Williams and Murray hopefully will have parallel careers, where Murray struggled under leadership that wasn’t meant to lead, but ended up thriving once out of it. Time will tell with Williams, but I feel really lucky to call K1 my QB

  10. In my mind, this year was kind of a prove it year. Can he succeed with Petzing and Ganon? He has definitely more than proved it and I’m very happy he has. I was hoping he would.

  11. Caleb is still going to be good

Shane Waldron is a football Terrorist and couldn’t even scheme a wr room of DK/lockett/jsn open

With that being said, yeah trading a qb who you just paid was never a realistic option
