Has to be Pierre
Pierre
Ironhead Hayward
Pierre or Hilliard. I’d lean Pierre, but Hilliard was before my time. My dad would say Hilliard though
All purpose career yards:
Pierre Thomas 8307
Dalton Hilliard 6923
Reggie Bush 4968
Ricky Williams 4225
Like the others, I’m going with Pierre
Sproles
AK, Ingram, Deuce after that you can tell me hilliard or PT or Hayward and I won’t fight with you.
Pierre Thomas forsure.
I loved Darren Sproles, he just wasn’t on the team long enough
Gotta go with Pierre. Not only due to the stats people have already mentioned, but I’ll add an additional one that is eye-opening. Looking at his career stats on ESPN, Pierre fumbled 6 times. 3 rushing fumbles and 3 receiving fumbles (Regular and Post Season). Rule 1 of any player is ball security. Pierre is the epitome of ball security.
Easily Pierre
He’s not as good as others listed, but putting in a plug for one of my first favorite Saints: Craig Heyward.
CJ Spiller and AP on my all let down mt rushmore
Much love for Ingram and AK duo but, as a foreigner who spent a lot of his time watching random games, it was Pierre Thomas (together with Lance Moore, Colston and Brees) that made me fall in love with the Saints. And later Pierre Thomas and Sproles duo sealed it.
But i guess this question will always have different answers depending on which “generation” of players you got used to seeing in their prime
Kamara, Ingram, Pierre Thomas and Bush.

Dalton Hilliard
Show Deuce some love.
Piereee such a beast
Definitely PT. But, if Reuben Mayes hadn’t tore his Achilles in his 3rd year, he’d be up there. Was never the same. Other oldies but goodies were George Rogers, Chuck Muncie, and Tony Galbreath
PT is the reason the league fears the screen pass. Put some Respec on his name.
Deuce, Ingram, Alvin, Hilliard.
Not while Pierre exist my boy

Deuce is definitely on the Mount Rushmore.
Kamara, Ingram, Deuce, and Pierre
Other than the guys everyone else named, I wanna shout out some of the backups we’ve had that i was a fan of like Ivory, Latavius, Hightower, Cadet, etc
Ingram. AK41. Deuce. And Hilliard. When playing the Saints, Ronnie Lott asked “Who’s #21, he hits like a truck”. That’s high praise. And if he hadn’t been undersized, he wouldn’t have gotten injured so much. I love Pierre, and no one was better in the screen game. But IMO it’s Dalton.
