I’m officially out, until someone is fired. Diehard fan, but won’t be watching another game/spending one cent, until someone has the balls to do something

  1. With you, there. Absolutely embarrassing that we’re here yet again when everyone knew exactly how this would play out after last year.

  2. Iv got a lot of friends who root for other teams. Even the Packers fans are like “dude I cant watch you go through this anymore.” I live in MN and the Vikings fans are trying to convert me to “save me from my abusive relationship with the Bears”.

Obviously I’m not switching teams but after the Packers destroy us this week, the Bears no longer get my stand alone attention this season. If they come on redzone, I’ll see them then

  3. We’ve all been thinking it but after that presser. It’s clear this team doesn’t have 1 leader type coach.

    Typical bears… Repeat cycle

  4. Kinda cringe to post about it but if this season wasn’t so fucked and fans hadn’t been fucked in the ass by this org for so long- I understand and can agree with you.

Eberflus needed to be gone along with Waldron. Poles and Warren don’t care about the fans nor do the McCaskeys

  5. Yet everyone keeps buying tickets for hundreds of dollars to games, and buying merchandise, and everything else.

  6. Just put money on us to lose each game. I’m putting a stupid amount of money on the packers this weekend.

  7. Game day (ticket/concession) sales and merch are where a protest would need to be made. TV deals are league wide so not watching has 1/32 the impact.

  8. What I just truly don’t get is what they expect to happen on Sunday. I’m not talking about the game, we all know the outcome.

They are actively fostering what will be one of the worst, vitriolic crowds in Bears history.

  9. I just feel bad for one of my co-workers that was on the STH waitlist for 22 years and finally got them this year. He won’t even break even after going to just 2 games.

  10. Trace Armstrong is the agent for Eberflus, Poles and Waldron. So, ain’t nobody going anywhere.

  11. At this point I don’t care anymore. They can make all the changes they want from players to management. But at the end of the 3 years, they will just be cleaning house again. Just like they’ve been doing time and time again. The McCaskeys dont care. This isn’t the same ownership as the Hallas/McCaskey family back in the day. This family no longer has the NFL loving heart they had. Nothing will change. It’s a never ending cycle of insanity and will always be. The McCaskeys won’t sell. They will keep passing this shitty franchise around their shitty family for eternity. It’s done. It’s over. This is the final straw. This team is doomed.

  12. I probably post here daily. I’m out too. It’s legitimately not good for my mental health and am checking out already. I’ll tune in here and there but the team doesn’t deserves undivided attention anymore. It’s been decades of dysfunction. They’ve broken me

  13. Same. We truly are the fools expecting things to change. If they actually moved on from a head coach breaking their cycle I’d be impressed. It shows accountability and tells your fan base being constantly mediocre is unacceptable. Instead bad coaches will scapegoat players and coordinators before they are even held accountable. Now that we have the players for a decent offense they still can’t put it together. I’m done with this team until new coaching.

  14. I get that long term loyalty is celebrated. But there are a lot of factors that go into fandom. Sports are supposed to be fun and entertaining. Nothing about bears football for the past decade has been fun or entertaining. It’s a miserable existence and honestly only a sadist could continue like this.

They have done nothing to show the loyal fan that they respect them. To the McCaskey family we are nothing more than potential dollars.

    Fuck them.

  15. On Sunday I took my kids to a park with a small conservatory. We walked around, looked at the koi pond, smelled some flowers, saw some really beautiful tropical plants and then played on the playground for an hour.

Checked the score on my phone a couple of times and then just put it away in the second half.

One of my best Sundays in a while.

  16. I don’t blame you and I personally will not watch another game this season either. I will also not participate in Thanksgiving because someone in my family will probably have the Bears on and I will vomit out all the turkey as a result.

  17. Running with the Lions until further notice. Watching that thriller of a game last night was the most fun I’ve had watching football in weeks

  18. Same but like for real this time. The owners obviously don’t care so why should I. Redzone it is for me on Sundays and hope to see the Bears every now and then on there.

  19. I’d boycott, but it’s basically impossible to watch games anyway. I am just not going to illegally stream the games anymore.

  20. I’m so with you me and my dad boycotting the next game and def the thanksgiving one too. I’m just glad people all agree about boycotting. It’s not worth getting upset over if they aren’t willing to change.

  21. 100%. I’m not wasting 3 hours of my time every week until garbage ass Eberflus is gone. Would much rather spend those 3 hours doing something I will know for a fact I will enjoy, rather than just be mad watching that’s he’s still employed by the Bears

  22. I went to the game yesterday with my wife. About halfway through the third quarter I turned to her and said “Go ahead and fire up that honey do list for Sundays. I got nothing better to do”.

  23. We say this like once every 2-3 years and the cycle continues to repeat. Same old shit.

  24. i don’t give the bears any money anyway, thanks to a man for the people, but I did unsub from the sub so there’s that.
