Let’s go Mendy!
I’m glad for Mendy but manager of the year is a shit award. Managers don’t get better and worse from year to year. Manager of the year is “manager whose team made the playoffs and did better than expected.” The manager might have been lame as shit but the team did well.
Murphy’s winning it.

Quite an honor (and well deserved) for Mendy to be a finalist in his first season
Murphy is going to win and I don’t get it. Nothing against him but inheriting a perennial playoff team and taking them back to the playoffs doesn’t feel anywhere near as close as impressive as taking a team shit one year to the playoffs the next, especially from 11 games down.
Mendoza should get points for staying on course. He kept his head level the entire year including when we hit rock bottom.
