I’m really not new to this stuff, but I was checking my schedule and noticed this for the first time. What does “HOME 3RD” mean? I probably should know but for the life of me I can’t find an explanation.

The CBJ wear the Cannons at home against Metropolitan Division teams. They started last season.
Looks like it just means the game is being played at home, and the 3rd period is referenced.!..
