What quarterback do you want the Giants to take?

  1. Ward and it’s not close IMO. Yea Sanders is projected above him as of now but Ward just seems like he has *it* and just seems like a more well rounded passer. Also, he doesn’t seem to have a big mouth like Sanders afaik

  2. I really like Cam Ward, though we may/may not get him depending on how the season goes.

Though he’s playing well, I don’t think I would want Sanders. Can you imagine that with the New York media, though winning cures everything.

As for the others, I’m not sure there are any franchise QBs.

Question for this sub. What FA QBs can we target?

  3. Encouraging healthy discussions here. I’m extremely high on Sanders. I think he’s going to make a legit pro QB. Decent size, solid Arm, great athlete, can make some difficult throughs, goes through progressions, not a stranger to the media. Aside from the “media circus” he and his father may bring, what are your strong arguments against him?

  4. Not sanders. Bro has an attitude problem, doubt he will take losing well, and most likely will just point fingers to everyone but himself.

  5. To those that say “We won’t be able to draft Cam Ward”, this is how I see it:

We aren’t finishing outside of 4-12; realistically, 3-13 is what we aim for (with hopefully the Saints and Cowboys being among losses). Titans still play the Jags twice, giving them the potential to pick after us pretty high. Raiders have the Saints, Jags and Dolphins which they could win to bump them up. Browns still play the Saints and Dolphins, so all these bad teams WILL pick up wins.

Jags and Pats don’t need QBs, and the Panthers might address other needs over QB and give Bryce some more time. Jets aren’t as bad as their record and will pick up wins.

Even if a QB-needy team picks ahead of us, Shadeur Sanders is projected to go first at QB. As long as Schoen/Daboll like Cam Ward, he should be ours and if he’s not…they can do a lot with the pick that is pretty much guaranteed top-5.

  6. Cam Ward, living in Florida myself I have watched a bunch of UM games this year. The guy is the only reason the team has won as many games as they have. He runs to pass, and has a NFL quick release. Restrepo broke records for wide receiver at UM a school with history at the position and the guy plays out of the slot. Wandale would get some nice stats with Ward, not to mention Malik.

  7. Watch them end up trading the #1 pick and have the Maras wait until Arch Manning is ready.

  8. Don’t worry guys we will make sure to win two meaningless games in December to ensure that we miss out on all the top 3 guys!

  9. My ideal scenario, take the best tackle available in the first (assuming we’re picking around 5) and then trade back into the first for Milroe. I think we need Thomas insurance and another option at RT. I think Milroe could be a dynamic duel threat.

  10. Trade away the #1 pick for next year trade capital and we got a shot at Manning. Its only 18 months away haha.

  11. I like Ward. He makes too many boneheaded plays but he’s also very confident and composed. Seems like he never gets rattled. I just don’t know if he’s mobile enough for Daboll and Schoen.

  12. Give me whoever reads defenses the fastest and understands pro offense designs.

Failing that give me Ward, he had to earn every chance he’s had and that makes me think he’ll adapt to the NFL..

  13. If we are following the formula on who reminds us of Eli might as well pick the guy who went to the same university in Jaxson Dart. But for real my pick would be Ward.

  14. Yall don’t watch games if you think Milroe will be a good NFL QB. That dude stinks as a passing quarterback.

  15. None of these guys play at Duke, which I think is a good thing. Last time we drafted an Ole Miss guy it worked out pretty well.
