  1. You couldnt write better comedy than this.

Cant even land a free agent with legal issues in week 11.

  2. Xavier really thinks he’s getting a good contract still? He’s lucky Bengals were desperate for a work out

  3. This has way more to do with him not considering the Bengals a Super Bowl contender than anything. He’s ring chasing at this point.

  4. Fellas, the end of the world happened when we lost to the Patriots in Week 1. Not now when we can’t land aging average CBs who have multiple injury and attitude issues to an already bad, problematic defense. Sorry, but this one’s not on Mike or Duke or the FO.

  5. You have to imagine they brought in more than one defender today with the reported “plethora of veteran players”

  6. They offered him a minimum contract and told him he was going to start on a team with one of the worst defenses in the NFL. I don’t blame him for saying no

  7. Lifelong Fins fan here. X was being beaten like a drum his last season in Miami. His peak is long past, greatness in his prime but that was some time ago now.

  8. He was not that great. Eli Apple is on a PS for another team. Let’s snag him. He’s about as good as Howard is.

  9. Howard played God awful last year, worse than Eli Apple. He’s a scum bag human and now worth more than the vet minimum. Obviously Howard thinks he’s still worth more than the vet minimum and that’s exactly why he’s been a free agent all year. Also dude has all kinds of allegations and stuff right now. I’m frustrated that the front office didn’t make a move before this week too. But Howards old sorry ass wasn’t going to help very much. Didn’t anyone else watch dolphins games last year?

  10. I mean not losing sleep for an over the hill toxic headcase that would probably do nothing anyway

  11. Him and former Bengals CB William Jackson III both went to the same high school here in Houston. Like sometime mentioned, his best days are long behind him. No lost that he didn’t sign.

  12. With his recent character issue, I’m honestly surprised we entertained it. Guarantee that drove his value down in bengals minds.

Also, he’s likely washed up anyways. Just think, each team carries 4 or 5 cbs plus practice squads, and that many people were seen as better

  13. Probably using the Bengals to show the more competitive teams in the league that there is still interest in him out there.

  14. Chasing a ring.. we probably low balled.. because we clearly need no help on back end of our d… he’ll end up on chiefs or ravens sadly
