Florida teacher inspires students through NFL statistics, Buffalo Bills take notice

Stat Man Sam has yet to make it to a game… It’s a shame that we’ve already exhausted the two Dolphins games this season. Otherwise, I would see what we could pull off as far as getting him to Buffalo!

I’ve been watching Mary on TikTok for a while and it’s actually INCREDIBLE how into learning the kids are when it’s centred around football.
I love it when teachers take something the kids are interested in and use it to teach multiple subjects. Had that experience with my daughter’s 5th grade teacher, who managed to design an entire 9 weeks of the state curriculum around the kids’ interest in recycling and composting. He managed to weave in every subject with hands-on projects. It connects kids to their own education in a way you don’t see very often.
