Report: Shane Waldron fired as Bears Offensive Coordinator

I remember telling my bears friend how bad he was. He was adamant with all the weapons the bears had, and Williams, he’d be good. Lol
Aaaaaand then they just promoted Thomas Bown to OC.. (they man responsible for Bryce Young)
Poor Bears fans
Surprised he lasted this long. I’ll never understand what they saw in him.
I know some of you despise Waldron, but he’s clearly being made the scapegoat here. That team has way more issues than just the offensive play calling.
The most frustrating part of Pete’s fantastic tenure as HC was how he consistently picked mediocre OCs and stuck with them for too long. Waldron was possibly the worst of the bunch
Wow.
That wasn’t very long.
Being in Chicago, I was asked about my thoughts on the Waldron hire by Bears fans. Most were just happy with change, but I did warn them about the Waldron experience based on his time with the Seahawks. Glad they made the quick hook.
He is great at game planning, and should do well as an offensive assistant. He can’t adjust when things go wrong though. Best of luck to him though.
But I was told by Bears fans that it was the Seahawks fault that his offense here was so bad and that Caleb Williams would fix everything? It feels fucking nice to have confirmation that Waldron is just not the guy.
bears fans on reddit were talking so much shit and loving him a few weeks ago lol
🤭…🤭🤭…😆…😂😂…🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’m sorry, that sucks for bears fans, but who thought this was a good idea after what he did to the Hawks?
I wish him the best in a long future career outside the NFL
where’s that clip of JSN on that podcast talking about him lmao
Never forget that this man’s 4th and 2 gotta have it call was to leave Micah Parsons unblocked by design to throw to DeeJay Dallas.
Even if it worked, it’s still highly suspect logic to let one of the most explosive defenders in the NFL get a free run at your QB just so you have a chance to slip your 3rd string RB out into the flat.
What team is going to fall for whatever he tricks them with next? My money’s on the Panthers or Jets
Seahawks fans loving this but uh oh, what’s this, the offense is actually worse via EPA than it was last year.
Can’t believe they paired him with a rookie QB. The only defense I will give him is that he dealt with some really bad O-line situations. However, he failed to scheme around poor o-line play consistently.
