Jets claim Kaapo Kahkonen off waivers; can immediately assign him to the Moose

Makes sense more because it gives Winnipeg some insurance for if they need a recall that they aren’t recalling 21-year old Thomas Milic or 20-year old Domenic DiVincentiis. I suspect DiVincentiis will head to Norfolk where he was supposed to start the season.
Called this when Avs claimed him, Winnipeg will just claim him back.
Moose could use some veteran goaltender presence (and some veteran D while they’re at it.)
Fricken Colorado had to delay the inevitable. It was a galaxy brain play for the Jets to make Georgiev look like an all star so they would waive Kaapo.

God thats so goofy… The avs claim him off waivers put him on waivers and the Jets get him back…
Honestly feel kind of bad for Kaapo, he had to move his entire life here, then to Colorado, then back here.
