Great voice. Amazing calls.
And one of the kindest people you could ever hope to meet.
RIP Wheels
An absolute legend π₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ίπππ
Legendary voice of my childhood. Rest in paradise wheels.
He deserves more than 1:26. He was the best ever!
I was too poor to have cable. I grew up by the radio at night. I'm going to miss him.
I assume you all are going to do better than this… Right???
The tradition of watching the games on tv but listening to them on the radio started with the late Bill Schonely, and ended with the late Brian Wheeler. He was an unabashed homer on the radio and on his afternoon show wheels at work, blazer radio has never had the passion since wheeler left. Rest in peace.
Schonely was the best but Wheels did an awesome job after Bill left and he was passionate about the Blazer games he called. Two iconic Blazer voices will be sadly missed.
SUPER VOICE!β€π€π§β€
One of the greats! Shonz and him. Will never forget.
I've been a fan for 25 years. This was a very poor attempt to give this man credit for 21 years of service to this organization.
RIP Wheels.
If there was ever a home town announcer that deserved more from the team he worked for 20 years – both on and off the court – it was Wheels
incredibly low effort. took yall 48 hrs to even acknowledge his death. This org is trash. So ashamed of it now. RIP Wheels. They shafted you just like Schonz.
I can still remember my dad muting the TV to listen to Wheels commentary. I also remember Wheels saying kind words during a game after my dad had passed away. I will never forget those things or the amazing memories and moments Brian Wheeler gave to us, RIP Wheels, BOOM SHAKA LAKA!
