Surprising but hope he has a good game!

  1. Why does it surprise you? Just because he had a rough night? He’s earned the starting spot while demko is out, IMO. Overall he’s looked better than Silovs

  2. The schedule has been very loose so he should be able to handle the load. But we need to get silovs prepared as the schedule will start ramping up soon. Back to back games coming this weekend.

  3. Silovs is not NHL ready I’m afraid. Lankinen needs to start as many games as he can handle and we pray Demmer is back sooner than later.

  4. Makes sense. Lankinen’s in the range of 13th-20th most starts among goalies, so a pretty average starting goalie workload atm.

They were able to get Arty a start in Abbotsford, and Canucks haven’t played since Saturday so Lankinen should be rested.

  5. Really hope they put Lekki wit Petey and not Miller. Milsy can drive his own line just fine, Petey needs a legit shooter and Lekki is exactly that.

  6. Really excited to see Lekkeramaki with Miller and Suter. Both of them will be defensively sound and gives Lekkeramaki a bit of space to get creative.

  7. Hopefully it goes as well as the last time a young swede made his debut at home against the flames

  8. Strange, he’s played 4 in a row and had a horrible game. I guess Silovs has 0 trust from the coaching staff (fair at this point honestly).

  9. Should be a good game!
My only concern is Calgary will be doing their run’n’gun game…we better be ready to protect Lekki (if necessary) from the welcome goons.
