RJ has had a rough roadtrip. But tonight he looked like he stumbled out of the Horseshoe Tavern on to the court. An embarrassing showing. Awful shot selection, poor decision making and pathetic defensive effort from the guy who should have been the veteran leader tonight. 3/14 with 5 TOs 😬
There was some excuses about him being gassed in the game thread. Not having it, the man is a young 24 year old professional athlete, at the start of the season and this isn’t a back to back game.
I’m an RJ believer, not a hater, think he will be important for this team for years to come. But he deserves his lumps tonight
85 points. Ooof
Rough offensive showing tonight, but 16 FTA for Gradey is definitely something.
Great for the tank ! Another Gradey high with 32!
Detroit won
Atlanta won
Milwaukee won
Toronto lost
2-10 record after 12 games !
Gradey, Poeltl and Ochai: good effort.
RJ: basically the reason we lost.
every one else: play with more hustle goddamn you’re not getting this playing time on any other team.
Kept them under a 100
Gradey Dick absolutely balled out tonight new career high
RJ 3/14 5 TO, -19 probably his worst game as a Raptor
There will not be any Bruno slander also played a solid game too
Boucher was the only bright spot off the bench
There’s losing, and there’s making Uncle Garrett get out of his chair losing. That was not pretty
Sorry RJ and Scottie and Quickley but this is Gradey’s team now
When the time comes, unfortunately RJ may be the odd man out.
Dick can score he’s proving that. But his man to man defense needs a lot of improvement.
3/14, 5 TO, -23
Don’t let those stats fool you, RJ was worse than that
Congrats to Gradey! He wanted that bonus.
Congrats to staying the worst record in the league
It’s refreshing watching both teams play hard to the buzzer regardless of score. Nba cup has brought a lot of good benefits to the league.
Gradey was great.
Poeltl continues to struggle vs teams with beefy size Cs
RJ been disastrous this road trip. Inefficient, bad shot selection, turnovers and bad defense…..
GTJ all game:

Gonna chalk SOME of the sloppiness and bad play to it being the end of a long and tough road trip but can’t excuse everything. Some of those turnovers were awful lol.
But y’all have turned on RJ ridiculously quick lmfao. Yes he was bad tonight, but y’all gotta chill. Tough road trip and we’re hella injured. There really isn’t much you can take out of these games lol. I get the concerns about how he’s playing and stuff, but also, when we’re this injured, you can’t really do much about it.
Gradey scored almost 40% of our points lolllll
Uhhh
This shit team is still fun to watch? It’s good that Darko kept putting RJ in, big brain move for sure.
Everything about this team from the very top down to the very bottom stinks.
There were dudes saying cooper or ace are coming off bench because we have rj barrett lol
With Giannis and Brook the rim was practically closed off – this hurt RJ the most, his entire game depends on being able to get to the rim
Defensive rebounding was atrocious but again tough to blame the guys I saw genuine effort
These are the games where even having dudes like Bruce brown and Kelly O can help the offensive gel
And obviously we’re missing our top 2
Davion played 33 minutes, scored 1 point, and attempted 0 3s lol.
That Dick is good but he needs to work on his man to man

I feel like Gradey has to be one of the front runners for MIP at this point.
Who had Fernando dunking on Giannis??
Lol I can’t believe this sub defending RJ in this thread rn. He’s been doo doo guys come on. Stop coddling these dudes.
I’m sure absolutely none of the people now questioning whether RJ is part of the future were hyping him as their second star until two or three games ago, right?
I mean, he was truly awful tonight. But if you’re gonna turn on each of these guys every time he hits a rough patch – especially while trying to play an oversized role in an injury-decimated lineup – you’re in for a miserable season.
Might be the Stockholm Syndrome but Bruno Fernando has been giving us good minutes and been a serviceable backup big.
I expect RJ to turn this around about you guys are seeing how important Scottie is to this team. Also to all the people making posts calling this RJ’s team, still think he’s that?
Amazing game by Gradey. He’s gonna thrive when the team is healthy. It’s Scottie/Gradey as 1a/1b
This time next year, you will all be campaigning for RJ to get his Number retired, jersey raised into the rafter and a solid gold statue built at the entrance of the arena. No No, I mean solid Diamond Statue, with a full time Secret Service team watching over it 24/7. But why you must ask?….. only legends will understand.
NBA CUP? we good NBA, the train to flagg town doesn’t stop for anything.
RJ, and the majority of the team had a bad game. They’ll bounce back though.
Gradey and CB played great. Poeltl too.
My takeaway is there was a lot of bad passes that lead to turn overs.
It’s hard having two of your best playmakers (your best player, as well as your starting point guard), as well as your backup centre out with injuries.
Most teams can’t handle that. It’s why the Bucks have almost as bad a record as us… but they also have less rookies on their team than we do.
Either way, this is good for development. They have to learn how to get around teams that try to drive us off the perimeter, and limit access to the paint.
Aside from all of that, how did the Bucks get away with spraying the ball with WD40 before the game?
To the RJ haters in the thread, I don’t care. He’s a fun player to watch on a good night and we’re lucky to have him.
This is gonna be forgotten instantly because wtf was this game.
But Ochai was really, really impressive on Giannis tonight. He really battled. I’m super high on him at this point.
