The dude just makes big play after big play and never drops the ball, wonder where I have seen that level of elite/consistance pass catching…

  1. Trey has been an absolute beast, easily the best TE we’ve had in my life time, and maybe the best TE in the league this year, but that was absolutely a drop in the end zone, it hit him right on both hands. Not an easy catch, but not a circus catch or anything either, the drop was very much on McBride, not Kyler’s placement.

Still an awesome stat, and shows why that drop was so shocking, cause trey so rarely does drop the ball.

  2. I have never been so wrong about a player as I have been about Trey (so far).

He isn’t just like a good tight end, or even an elite tight end. He is a premier pass catcher in the league. Like in the conversation with other WR1s in the league (because that, honestly, is what he is).

Total dawg and cool dude too, especially with his family background. It was great to see that featured during the draft season giving him a chance to showcase his life beyond football.
