  1. When the NESN broadcast mentioned that the Blues were one of two teams left in the league that hadn't scored a PP goal at home, I legit said out loud "oh nice, can't wait for our PK to change that for them lol" AND THEN I WAS RIGHT

  2. I think we need to get off Monty's back. I know a lot think it's the job of fans to panic or to jump to ridiculous conclusions, but at 47 years old, as a die-hard Boston sports fan, I've been around the block and have learned to STOP calling for firings and whining WAY TOO EARLY.

  3. Huge win for the team, they needed this comeback win BAD. Montyā€™s seat is still hot, but hopefully we can build off this and have a strong performance against Dallas. Go Bā€™s.

  4. I looked at the lineups just before the Bruins game. Couldnā€™t, for the life of me. Notice who was scratched. As. Johnson in the lineup, and Geekie, who I was happy to see backā€¦something was wrong. Itā€™s funny. Iā€™m wearing my Poitras Jersey and was like ā€œok. Something about these lines. Someoneā€™s out, but who?ā€ So I looked at the Bruins page in specific and scrolled down. ā€˜Boston Bruins assign Poitras to Providenceā€™ fuck.

First time in 8 games that the Blues didnā€™t let a goal in the first period, and I believe thatā€™s first minute of the game too. So, we helped them kill that.

They scored first for once, so. Thatā€™s something. My father fell sleep before they scored. I thought he was awake for it. I knew he was out like a light before the second power play. He didnā€™t miss anything so. I didnā€™t really care to try waking him up. Wasnā€™t until our dog started howling, something was outside, that my father woke up. Looked at the score ā€œhuh, I missed two of their goals.ā€ Yeah. I thought you were awake for the first one. Guess you werenā€™t aware theyā€™re both Powerplay Goals. ā€œNope, so. We were their first two. Niceā€

Third period. After the goal by Geekie. There was the commentary ā€œthat this will be the game the Bruins have a third period comebackā€ Iā€™m going to press X to doubt, because. This team is not capable. Spent more time playing a game on my phone, than watching the game, and. I didnā€™t miss ANYTHING. There was nothing to miss. No high danger chances. No fight, it was just. We exist. (Listening to you repeat this sentiment while Iā€™m typing this)

THEN WE GET THE SECOND GOAL. I didnā€™t believe it. Pastrnak scores and Iā€™m literally in a state of shock. ā€œOh my god, is this actually happening?ā€ Hands cupped around my mouth. So fucking happy. ISNT THAT SAD?!!?!?!?!!? Last year. Oh yeah, we got this. Two years ago. Bergeron is around. Yeah. WE GOT THIS. This year? Nah. We lose this. We find a way to lose this.

We won! I cannot believe this. What the fuck? Are the Bruins are actually capable? No. This is the Blues. A team WORSEā€¦worse; than US. Thatā€™s impossible I swear, but yet. Here we were. The Bruins always find a way to lose these games, but. We managed it. Now. If only we could find a way to BENCH JOHNSON. What exactly has he done for us since we got him? Heā€™s trash. I donā€™t like him, I donā€™t want him. I never hear about him. I only notice him when I DONT WANT HIM TO GET A POINT. Which for this team. Thatā€™s like. A minute a game. Why the fuck did we sign him? He hasnā€™t given the team a boost in any way. He certainly hasnā€™t done anything. When he was the lone man back. I was actually hopeful he would prove fast enough to interceptā€¦but, he was just BARELY. Barely able to bite the ankles of said Blues player (whoever it was) despite being on his ankles, since the Blues Blue-line. Heā€™s slow, and heā€™s trash. You can be one but you cannot be both. Defensive liability, but. Iā€™ll give him this. I canā€™t say he was alone responsible for any goals scored against usā€¦which, I unfortunately can say for Geekie. Love the kid, want him around. He has talent and we arenā€™t able to utilize it quite yet.

    McAvoy-Lohrei
    Lindholm-Carlo
    Zadorov-Wotherspoon/Peeke

That should be our ideal Defensive Lines. With H.Lindholm injuredā€¦yes. Hopefully day-to-day. If we are willing to keep a liability and player I hate, in our lineup (Johnson) then maybe we should bring up Mitchel. Have him slot in next to Carlo. Not like this team is anything beyond consistently disappointing. šŸ™‚

Letā€™s bring home this Dub against the Stars.

  5. the bruins miss sophia being around. but razor did call the come back last night. that was great. if the bruins PK was good to great they would have a totally different record.

  6. Itā€™s wild how bad the pk is cause they get a ton of practice on it. As frequent as they take penalties the % almost adds up to 2 goals a game automatically for the opposing team. Its close to 1 out of every 3 penalties and they take about 5-6 a game

  7. One of the biggest things I notice is they donā€™t create any open passing lanes. Even geekies goal went through 2 sticks and nearly got blocked. They donā€™t create layers at all.

  8. Get ready for tomorrow night in Dallas. If we can win that one then I will feel so much better about this team. But knowing how Dallas does things they will probably obliterate us. I mean look what they did to Pittsburgh the other night

  9. I felt like this game was a race for the bottom. I suppose the blues won in that regard. I suppose, I suppose we can say we have lots of room to improve. Again, just not clear if itā€™s for the top or bottom. and KEEP YOUR STICK ON THE ICE ALREADY!

  10. The comeback was fun, but being down 2-0 in a game we basically completely dominated at 5v5 just shows how pathetic the special teams are rn. At least pasta and McAvoy both came to play.

  11. Could Forbort and Debrusk not on the penalty kill squad this year make this current squad this bad. I want to apologize to Forbort considering he mades half of Zadorovā€™s money

  12. I stopped watching after two periods, that was some putrid hockey. I know they came back and beat a bad team, but I don't regret missing it. As a lifelong Bruins fan who rarely misses even one game, this team makes me not want to watch them.
