[Johnston] The Leafs have activated Jani Hakanpää from LTIR. It’s been a long road for the free-agent signee who last appeared in a NHL game on March 16 because of a knee injury. Hakanpää played two games for the AHL Marlies while on a conditioning loan this month.

3. I can’t see Timmins coming out, he’s been really good and gaining confidence. Also plays a different style of game than Hakanpää.

   I love Benoit, but does he make more sense to sub out for Hakanpää?

5. Who comes out? My guess is Timmins but he’s actually been pretty solid lately.

   Only other option is Benoit. I love Benoit but he seems to be missing some snarl compared to last year.

6. The next roster decision then comes when Matthews returns. Cap is fine but roster is currently 23/23.
