as excited as I was about the season a month ago, I am that un-excited about this team and this season. Can we fast forward a couple years?
F the Habs
Matheson -3 last night (including that major F-up with the empty net). That duo looked like the 5th pair of defensemen (which is usually in the stands) . Meanwhile, our friend Arbor, the hardest shot of the team, had two glorious occasions to use his shot, BUT NO ONE PASSES THE PUCK TO HIM!!! Strud chose to shoot a wristy through a crowd instead 🤷🤦🤦 I dunno man.
So am I the only one that thinks Matheson needs to go?

I think people are most upset that they're worse than last season, hard to be excited for a team that limps over in the first 5 minutes of every game and has to play catch up. It's just boring hockey man trying to find the silver lining and hoping a few players have good seasons. I miss the playoffs.

One of the usual, not getting a timely save, not scoring when we should, dump penalties, bad give always, and my favourite no high man watching the slot. It was a typical game, good moments followed by bad and more bad. I’m ok with it, rebuild some regression was expected.
More heart though would be nice!

This team needs a coach with experience.All we do is train rookie coaches its the same culture of losing for the last 30 years.This policy of getting rookie coaches Does Absolutely Nothing to change that culture.Get A coach will real experience before they all ask to be traded.Even Suzuki the captain is cruising.wtf happened inexperienced coaching …again and again and again.

Leafs fan coming in peace. I know we beath the habs last night 4-1, but their forcheck had me worried. They're great at applying pressure and wearing you down for a late game push, but they don't seem to generate enough high danger chances and their defence is just OOOOFFF. They need a lot of work still it seems.
