   Joe and Dabes went to the same school.. they know how to talk for 20 minutes and say nothing

2. We keep talking about 2022 like it turned our team around? WTF? Make it to the playoffs and actually win a game and the world changed! Joke! Now DJ, who we all wanted to work, can sit on the couch and count his 100 mil we gave to him.. not bad at 27 years old!

3. Schoen didn't want to give Wilson a chance to compete for QB1 bc he guaranteed Lock 5mil. So $45mil on bench and DeVito cut would make him look bad. Especially if DeVito played well somewhere else.

4. Giants fan 54 years…….. the loss to Carolina was the last straw……….I will wait till next year……not watching anymore them anymore……

5. Schoen overvalued 2022 DJ 22TD mediocre season as elite. BC Winks high blitz D dominated bad QBs so they won 9 games. Then he overpaid Burns so we didn’t have cap for DL, CB2, so our D is last in NFL rush/att and mediocre overall.

7. I think they are. I truly think the New York Giants are A LOT closer to seriously competing than everybody thinks.

   I still think this is at least a year or 2 away from happening, but I have a gut feeling that this team is going to be NFC East champions in either 2025 or 2026.

   And when they are, I feel like the fans are going to storm the field.

   Because this team has been so bad and so much of a joke for such a long time and has not won the NFC East since their Super Bowl run in 2011.

   I mean, I have joy tears in my eyes just thinking about it: the New York Giants beat the Philadelphia Eagles to clinch the NFC East title for the first time in nearly a decade and a half, chaos ensues as the fans rush MetLife Stadium!

8. DJ is like the cute cunning devil. His naive, sorry, pitiful baby face makes a lot of ppl pity him and for that he has caused a lot of trouble & departures to a lot of people to accommodate him Just get him out of here.

10. Goodmorning another great video as always. Our QB Jones has been very inconsistent totally agree. I like Jones but it is his time to move on from the Giants. I think the Giants are at least 2 years away from being a solid playoff team. Too many mistakes penalties drop passes your comments as always Ptrain are spot on its very difficult to watch them play. Thank you for being honest about our team. We will be lucky to get 5 wins. Keep up your great work as always go

12. After 48 yrs a Giants fan and a business professional, that was embarrassing. Very much like the product they put on the field. Get Mara's attention and STOP spending your money on this crap because I will.

13. I think the team is very close. Shoen knocked this year's draft out the park and I'm excited to see what he does in next year's draft. Let's look and talk about the good things about the team for a change. Like how great of a job they've done on getting Evan Neal to play above average at right tackle.

14. The owners of the Giants are probably going to let Joe and Brian continue building the team for at least 1 more year. 5 year plans can't end every 2-3 years. Both men came off kind of cocky for being part of the success in Buffalo. Both have admitted they have made mistakes so we will see.

16. Something to chew on … perhaps ownership wanted Jones to get an extended shot and Schoen gave him the 2 year contract to prove himself. ( it wasn’t like it was a 4 or 5 year contract)

    It was a 2 year experiment … and I think Schoen (over dinner privately) would agree with you that he didn’t build in enough options at the QB positions.

    We all know that we need to evaluate each player individually and coaches. The close games do mean something!

    You are holding this management team responsible for previous management teams losses. All the years of loses are being dumped on the current staff.

    Ultimately if it’s only about the record, then ownership should be you main target as the are the common denominator! You’re only as good as your last game right? …

    no their are other indicators and they have been competitive and you can see Daboll has called plays that have given this team a chances to win.

21. The Giants franchise is in trouble with this GM and coach. The 2025 NFL draft is so important for the Giants. If the GM screws this draft up. The Giants could be set back another 5 – 10 years from competing.

23. I wholeheartedly agree that it was a big mistake not to have a QB competition. Daboll, the QB whisperer, had to know that Jones isn’t the guy and they were stuck with him. That and why sign Lock knowing he isn’t a good back up? If we had a decent back up, he could have gone in 5 games ago. Bad decision making. That is management.

24. This is the worse GM we’ve had in the 40 years I’ve been a fan. The arrogance and every decision has the wrong decision and hard knocks shown that he doesn’t listen to his staff

25. There's not a team in the NFL that doesn't have holes anywhere on the Roster. I don't agree with cherry picking certain positions as an excuse on why we're not close. I'm not saying we are close, but cherry picking those positions isn't the correct argument imo. Look at Kansas City or Detroit, I can show you positions all over the defense and offense that could use a lot of improvement. Baltimore and Buffalo as well. I think this team has a core that is significantly better than it's been in a long time, and has a coach that has won a playoff game with much less in the past. A year of development, a couple new pieces through FA or the draft, and a new look at QB (regardless of where that comes from) and we're in a position to compete. Maybe not for a super bowl next year, but there's no reason we can't be a playoff team next year just because we're weak in a couple spots. Everyone is weak in a couple spots.

26. They are not finishing which in my opinion is bc we don’t have a good enough QB to get us over the hump. Other areas need improvement also, but QB play is the main reason. A good team finds a way to finish and win. Will this ever happen??? I really am losing hope.

32. JS has made some serious BLUNDERS, signing DJ, is the biggest. Not resigning McKinney, Sequon, Ingram and Love are just a few. He's made some bad signings too many to count. I can't say he is any better than Gettleman. Also Wan'dale Robinson was a reach in round 2, could have gotten him in the 4th round.

33. Not as close as he may think, but not as far as everyone else thinks. This year’s draft was terrific, the o-line has improved, and Brian Burns is worth the money. Stay the course and keep Schoen and Daboll. Jones’ head will be the one on the spike. Schoen and Daboll get until 2026 to develop THEIR quarterback. At least if it doesn’t work out, then you will have all the prime and desirable candidates lining up. Firing them now would be another Woody Johnson move. Nobody wants to coach or manage the Jets Circus.

34. I don’t know about a QB competition, especially when you are paying Jones $40m. They were not going to do wrong by Jones, especially when Mara comes out saying that the team has screwed up Jones when Schoen and Daboll were hired. Russell Wilson was going to be a stop gap solution. I think this year was always about Jones starting, even if they drafted a QB, and if Jones did not play well, he would be replaced mid-season…well here we are.

You can blame Joe for a lot of things but trying to blame him for not being able to sign Russell Wilson is not right no one has any idea how those conversations went what Russell actually wanted for what Joe actually said so I am all for holding people accountable but you have zero idea what happened behind the scenes and I don't think it's right to blame him for that specific thing
