The 2023 OKC didn’t even make it out the 2nd round. It’s too early to compare them to the 2012 OKC team. The 2012 OKC has a better starting 5 and bench than the new OKC team facts!

The problem is that OKC is a small market. So bigger markets are automatically be more attractive.
So small markets have to win now because the margin of errors to retain those players is slim.
Durant went to Golden State because it's more attractive in any ways possible compare to OKC. Same thing with Paul George going to LA and demanding a trade right after signing a 4 years extension with OKC.
They are good team for sure but they are probably not gonna stay together long enough to win a chip
