[Speak] Deion Sanders says he will step in privately to prevent “the wrong team” from drafting Travis Hunter or Shedeur Sanders.

  1. Kid is talented and I think will be a good QB but idk if it’s worth dealing with this for the next 15 years

  2. Absolutely fucking not. When that kid fails, and he probably will, they will blame everything except themselves. Keeping up with the Sanders is not a show I want to watch

  3. He’s been saying this for the last year. Only way we draft him is if we wanna Eli manning his ass.

  4. And there it is. If we take him there will be drama. Not saying we shouldn’t do it anyways if we think he’s the guy, but imo him coming here is exactly what Deion is trying to protect his son from.

  5. Personally I hope they stay away from them. We can’t afford to chase these guys if their daddy is gonna be problematic.

  6. I don’t think it’s possible to “prevent” a team from drafting him. If he gets drafted, he gets drafted and there isn’t anything he can do about it besides not enter the NFL at all.

And the Eli Manning situation isn’t relevant now with predetermined contracts.

I’m on board the Shedeur train unless Levis looks remarkably better in the last eight games or Milroe/Ward look better in their remaining games.

  7. Every sentence out of his mouth is somehow more eye roll inducing that the one before it. Just severe clown behavior tbh

  8. I don’t like the messy stuff from Deion either but this type of stuff is just as much of an indictment on the Titans, Bears, etc. They haven’t been able to develop a QB in the last 20 years lol This is how people look at your organization when you can’t do it.

  9. Came here to ask “Do we really want Sanders?” and judging from the comments already, I think most agree with what I thought: Hell to the fucking no.

  10. Jerry Jones will take Sanders and Hunter. Let’s not pretend anything else will happen. Then Dad becomes coach.

  11. I would hope during interviews he makes it clear to teams who he will not play for. Would be ridiculous if it isn’t made clear.

  12. I’m a big fan of just pick best player available and there’s gonna be drama with any top of the draft QB pick, but I think he’ll threaten to not play for us anyway. He doesn’t want him to play for a small market team, feel like he already let his disrespect for the Titans known when he called Byard a fan. He’ll want that sweet marketing opportunity and prime time games

  13. Just going to drop this here for posterity. By April, we’ll all be salivating for Shadeur on the team. He’s grown, absolutely the best QB prospect in the class this year.

It’ll come down to us vs. LV for who has the higher draft pick. If he comes to Tennessee (which I think he would if drafted), he’ll lead us to the playoffs in year two and a super bowl in year four.

Flame me all ya want, I’ll just keep a tab on this comment over the following months/years.

  14. Hopefully a team will want to trade us or we just take the best player available. No qb is worth a top 3 pick this year.

  15. And for that reason, I’m out.

I would like to know how he thinks he has a say over Hunter tho. And I will say Hunter seems like a great kid, the fact that Deion wants to bring this kind of shit into that dude’s profesional life is sad af. Hopefully his parents tell Deion naw we’re good bro, worry about your own.

  16. Would you all also stay away from Eli Manning? Please don’t forget that Archie not only strong-armed the Chargers the week following up to the draft but he also strong-armed them THE DAY OF THE DRAFT. Chargers looked like fools drafting him only for Eli to look like his dog got shot….and then having to trade him away.

Did you hear about Archie the moment he went to the Giants? Archie Manning went back into the shadows of life…..

What I’m typing is that your biases are showing. HARD. There’s a world where a HOF player such as Deion isn’t seen or heard of again regarding his family as he got them where he needed them to be.

I see Lavar mentioned. Lavar never been to the holy grail of the NBA. Deion has. It’s a benefit for Deion to do what he’s doing for his kids. Ain’t no way he’ll be able to just linger around though as nobody does that in the NFL. Who’s the last daddy you can think of that is just LINGERING? Sheeeeit….they’d get locked out of the facility with a quickness!

  17. Hear me out: (1) Raiders fire Pierce (2) Raiders hire Sanders as head coach (3) Raiders trade the farm to the Titans to move up and draft Sanders at QB (4) Titans draft Hunter and pocket tons of picks (5) Titans draft top 3 with the Raiders 2026 picks.

  18. It’s known we don’t develop QBs. Not like I don’t want him, but I wouldn’t blame Deion for blocking a draft to the Titans. I’ll get downvoted by somebody wearing panties but a spade is a spade.

  19. I love deon but he doesn’t want his sons to come here.. to small a market.. plus we don’t need a qb.. our line still sucks we can try for a qb next year

  20. Respectfully he can do whatever he wants but if I’m running a team I won’t be playing that game. I’ll take them and they can decide if they want to be a pro or not.

  21. Hahaha in r/cfb I said whoever drafts Shedeur needs to put together an all-star PR team and some folks got mad. One even implied I was a racist.

  22. Draft him anyway. Tell Deion to kick rocks and STFU, or get onboard and help. If he still doesn’t want to play, sit on him for 4 years. It’s a rookie contract and we can all watch his best years waste away on the bench. Would probably be the most meaningful thing the Titans could do in years.

It violates the entire point of the draft system to allow players to pick and choose which market/advantageous situation they want to play in. Small market teams like the Titans and others will 100% suffer.

  23. I just want a good QB. If it comes with some drama so be it. I’m so ready to watch good football again.
