Mets must need him back. After fixing his mechanics with Sale approach. Who knows Manea can break 200k next year
Sean Manea was good but what made the Mets rotation successful last year was they had the 3 lefties to throw at any series. All with different styles manea with the sliders and cutters then they threw Quintana with an arsenal of off speed stuff then a power arm in Peterson. They were hard to scout hard to pick up then when you think you figured it out they threw a strike em out power arm from the right side in severino
Keep manea put you have to compliment him with another lefty. Peterson is coming back i don't know about Quintana if they want him back
Manea was good but don't get enamored by what he did last season remember hes been a journey man and hes no Cris sale
You can scout that all you want. But by the time you figure it out you just got swept and the mets are on their way to the next city
Bring back manea upgrade Quinta try to sign roki! The Mets are going to need at least 2 reliable lefties in the pen
I surely hope so…
I think that the Mets are going to need to fill several holes. If you sign Corbin Burnes and Juan Soto, or Burnes and Willy Adames, they won't go after Manaea. Let's not forget the bullpen.
I'd love to see the Mets land Tomoyuki Sugano. Sure he's 35, but he has been arguably the best pitcher in the NPB. He has an elite strikeout-to-walk ratio and a six pitch arsenal. Also, having two Japanese stars on your club will make you a more attractive destination for other NPB players.
