1. i know for a fact angels organization will never be on a championship level until morena sells the team. their fanbase are so fairweather. they would never have good pitching.

2. Focusing on developing young pitching and defense are what make the Braves so successful. Even with one bat (Ozuna) this year, they still made the playoffs. Angels just seem to dump money into hitters.

3. As a Dodger fan I couldn't care any less what happens in Anaheim with the Angels, but my goodness the bullet that we dodged when Rendon didn't sign with us in 2019. This guy hasn't played in more than 58 games the past 5 seasons. Putting it another way, Arte has paid him $40m per WAR since he joined them. WOW!!

10. The Orange County Anaheim Angels are a big joke. They are just a fraud where Anaheim is NOT in LA County, it is in Orange County!

11. There’s a lot of factors not being factored in like, free agents preferring to sign elsewhere, player deaths, albatross player contracts that didn’t payoff, poor management, both Trout and Ohtani injured.

    The Angels now have a core of young talent and are headed in the right direction.

12. It's $12 million total for two years for a 35 year-old backup catcher. If Travis d'Arnaud was a 28, 29 or even a 30 year-old player; but also a veteran who could help develop their young everyday catcher, Logan O'Hoppe, this might be a reasonable move. A somewhat expensive move, but one that might be a good idea. With d'Arnaud going into his age 36 season next year, it is much more sketchy.

    It is almost like the Angels signings of Kyle Hendricks and Travis d'Arnaud are for coaches, not players. Why don't they just hire new coaches? Moreno needs a smoke screen to fool Angel fans to continue going to games.

13. The fish rots from the head. As long as Artie Moreno is owner the team will never go anywhere. Unfortunately he's an obstinate man with more money than brains and doesn't know he doesn't know anything about building a professional baseball team…

14. I'm going to defend the Angels for one second. They had 3 stars together, Trout, Rendon & Ohtani unfortunately Rendon has been the biggest disappointment in baseball history, Trout can't stay healthy. Offensively they just couldn't stay healthy. Now the thing that leaves us Angel fans scratching our heads is that they don't get the right pitching, the dumpster dive and that's why the Angels go nowhere. They already started dumpster diving so this team isn't going anywhere till Moreno sells to an owner that's willing to go over the threshold. Sucks for us Angel fans.

I despite analytics, sabermetrics, moneyball etc., etc. But the Angels need a serious dose of these specialists to run the team properly so that idiotic signings like Rendon's contract never happen or the rejects mentioned in this video. Heck, instead of giving free agents tens to hundreds of millions, take that money, give them to all the analytics, and hire them away from teams like the A's and Dodgers.

19. They did not waste Ohtani's career, he played 6 years there, but he was hurt like half of those seasons. Mike Trout has not played a whole season since 2016. People like to hate on the Angels but you have to see the bigger picture. They have some great young talent. FYI they beat the Dodgers this year by the power of friendship lmao.

20. Only reason Diamond is in bankruptcy is because they took way more in debt than the channels were worth. The channels themselves would still make a profit. Also baseball made more money last year than all time. 11 billion dollars.
