1. As I've said 500 times, if there was a market for loperfido then someone would have came after him in a 1 for 1 deal. There wasn't. He was just a throw in as part of a 3 for 1 deal. Every franchise in the league has older .230 hitting high strikeout white guys.

2. Pressly is good people, he's had plenty of success, he was nails in the postseason before '24, but it's time. With Abreu and Hader on the roster you gotta shake out of that contract. He allowed base runners almost every time he hit the mound in '24 including the elimination game that kicked them out of the postseason. Which prevented Kikuchi pitching game 3 when the Tigers struggled against leftys. And the Guardians were obviously beatable and the Yankees were beatable. So yea I'm sour but still Pressly has hit a wall. I hope he has success, just somewhere else so they can clear out some salary room

3. Don’t care about the Texans. Lets stick with pro teams.

4. If they can trade Pressley for 8 MIl and a prospect in A ball. If McCullers moves to the pen and can replace Pressley with 60-80 innings. The Astros need to eat a LOT of salary for at least 2025 season. I think Crane will go over the cap for 2025 because so many salaries fall off after that. If they do these things and trade Framber they MIGHT be able to sign Bregman. If Caratini moves to 1st Base and McCormick bounces back and plays like an average LF…. There's a LOT of IFs…but it could happen. We might need a little magic and luck thrown in. Maybe Tucker and Alvarez will both hit 40HR and 110RBI's.

5. Id rather have Taylor Scott in the 7th than Pressly.
