With 21 less plate appearances and Rooker posting better HR/RBI/SB #s I wouldn’t say Yordan was robbed. A’s got a gem in the rough with Rooker. Happy for the kid. Obvs I love me some Yordan as he is my fav player on the team however I’m just trying to be reasonable with the “robbing” sentiment.

If it’s against an ASTRO then it automatically gets elevated to a Robbery charge no matter what.

Silver Slugger is all about the big three stats of hitting (H, HR, RBI). If it was an analytics based award, Yordan probably wins it.

Meh, it was a toss up really. But people forget he missed time getting hurt and continued to play hurt. So as impressive as it was, it could’ve been a better season for him. So good for rooker. That’s about the only award capable of getting anyway.
