Steichen says “attention to detail” throughout the process was the crux of the process Richardson needed to work on. He’s made great strides in those areas, and the #Colts obviously are happy with where he’s at now.

  1. This entire saga just sounded like Kyler Murray having to study more outside of the facility. Hopefully, this is true and it got AR more focused

  2. Yep. He wasn’t giving effort and now he totally fixed those issues up to NFL standards in two weeks.

    Jesus, this organization lol

  3. Cautiously optimistic but this is probably the worst defense we’re going to play all season. A good way to bring AR back into the fold and work on the little things

  4. Man I want him to be good but I really don’t think he was ready for the NFL. He should be focusing on improving more than anything, not on winning games. Can’t risk wasting that cheap rookie contract I guess

  5. I think they planned getting some heat off of him with the media coming after him pretty heavy.

2 weeks off so everyone can see just how bad this team is with Flacco in there.

ARich comes in, makes 1 or 2 spectacular plays against the jets (hope for more), and boom – he’s Jesus Christ himself

  6. Perhaps AR needed slapped across the face with the reality that his athleticism, which he’s been praised for his entire life, is not sufficient. This move may have also been because the Vikings and Bills would have WRECKED his confidence. All speculation. Total clown show. And yet, if Ws start happening and AR makes some splash plays along with his dumb mistakes, all we be forgiven.

  7. Didn’t he just say Flacco was starting earlier this week on Monday? Lol, weird but I’ll take it. I’m actually looking forward to watching this game now.

  8. This is exactly the answer I thought he would give when going back to AR after the bye. Definitely was not expecting it this quickly.

  9. I love AR. Hope he is the future. I doubt anything changes these two weeks besides how much Flacco sucked.

  10. “**obviously** are happy with where he’s at now”? That’s a bad take, there’s nothing obvious about this situation. It **looks** a lot more like “Flacco is just as bad so why not” to me. Or Jimmy mandated it. Or something else, who knows. Not obvious.

  11. Two weeks on the bench was long enough to determine that Anthony has improved his attention to detail? I don’t buy that for a second

  12. Well let’s hope so, because I can’t abide seeing him throw 40 yards down field into triple coverage on 3rd & 5 with a wide open JT in the flats having a tea party

  13. AR’s issue is lack a of completions. Throwing errant passes. Does focusing more make him a better passer? What’s he been focusing on all this time then?
