  2. LOL, did I just hear the names Toronto and Florida mentioned in the same sentence, really. The issue is simple, when you pay 75% of your payroll to 10 players you don't get talent for the other ten. Math is not hard.

  3. berube is trying to make offencive players live on defence and this just ain't workin. keefe's leafs could be down 3 and still have a shot at a point…berube goes down 2 and it's donezo; gg, no re.

  8. I kind of disagree with the take on the players not being able to play a Berube style of game. If the Leafs were a power house with offense then maybe I would agree but thats not the case. THE LEAFS CANT SCORE 5 a night. THEY CANT SCORE IN THE PLAYOFFS!!!!!! BEEN THAT WAY FOR YEARS. They need to change if there not going to get rid of the core. THE CORE TOGETHER DOES NOT WORK!! The core are great hockey players that would excell on another team with an established core. Before the season began I predicted they would be fighting for a playoff spot and would not make the playoffs. I say this because when players loose too much on the same team it effects them. Look at how scared they are when they play the Bruins. Its the psychological effects on the athlete.

  9. If Leafs play this Berube's s North- South game, they won't t get many rush outs, like JB said, because thee orders are that you can' t steal any of your defense as an offense player.

    Maybe Keefe was not so bad coach as he is blamed for.

    Austin scored then goals , Leafs had more odd man's rushes.

    And have a look how Devils play atm . They even won Panthers, no1 team in NHL.

    I think Sheldon is more Happy, in every respect.

    If Devils would win the Cup, this year or in near future, that would be his sweetest revenge for him.

    His chances are better than Berube's.
