Sean Peyton ain’t a hall of famer. He’s a bum. He went 7-9 3 years in a row with prime Bree’s. He’s a bum
Bro what are you a therapist you look and sound corny that man is who he is 13 years he's been the same. You and others are haters he don't care if people don't like him his family does all that matters get a life dude.
He loves his family he’s not a deadbeat he’s proudly black clean cut, smart, god fearing….. yeah nfl has no use for him.
I’ve been a Russell Wilson fan since 2012 (Go Hawks!) and you flippin nailed it!! Couldn’t agree more and couldn’t have said it better! I KNEW when Mike Tomlin gave him a call that it would be a marriage made in heaven! I had to defend him a few times on other Steeler podcasts but I knew what he would bring under Tomlin’s leadership. Sit back and enjoy the ride because it’s gonna be fun!!
You need to watch Brandon Marshall’s video discussion on Russ. It’s on YT. Russ is considered a great leader to the players who like that leadership style. Russ won’t bite back. That’s why players pick on him. He’s easy picking.
I’ll tell you this: I’ll never understand why anyone ever gave Richard Sherman or any other teammates who spoke negatively voices the tone of day. The long-held rule in sports is, “What happens in the locker room STAYS in the locker room.”
The fact that these new school players have no problem taking private batters to the media and public makes them unworthy of respect.
Do you think every player loved Brady, Montana, Unitas, Graham, Luckman, Bradshaw, Aikman, Young, Moon, or other QBs? Do you think every player likes Mahomes?
No QB is liked by everybody. It’s wrong to pretend that Russ is somehow different from other QBs. The only difference between Russ and those other QBs is that Russ played with sniveling, jealous, insecure, arrogant, overrated players in Seattle.
He’s the same player now that he was in Seattle. The Steelers just don’t have big heads and ginormous egos like Sherm, Percy Harvin, and those other cats in Seattle did.
Those other players were jealous of Russ’s rising stardom, the late owner’s affection for him (R.I.P.), his increasing endorsements and partnerships, and even his ability to snag Ciara. They were JEALOUS!
But Russ was well-liked by most players.
I disagree with saying that Russell was insecure. Russell understands that this is a business he understood it as soon as he got a agent and he got in the NFL. So he treated it as such. Anybody at that age is still finding themselves. When Russell talks about his faith this is something he truly believes. He prays with the players before the game he prays with players after the game. What Russell suffers from is delusion. And he's admitted that because he feels that the great players have delusion. He feels the Michael Jordan's the kobes they were kind of crazy obsessed to where they have the delusion that if I do everything right I can be the best in the league. And he ignores the size Factor. But the size factor is real in the NFL just like it is in the NBA. But I can't fault him for it when AI did it in the NBA it was because he had swagger people loved it. Russell just doesn't have that kind of swagger Russell has that good dad swagger. And he's always kind of carried that even being young. Sure you can say he needed to be humbled. But his problem in Seattle was not that he wanted to be Patrick mahomes. I was a fan of the Seattle Seahawks when he was going through it. His problem was the play calling was so vanilla because Pete Carroll was over everything. You're facing smart coaches like Kyle shanahan like Sean McVay like kliff Kingsbury And Pete Carroll stuck in his ways. The wide receiver coach is his son. The staff was outdated.he doesn't even make in-game adjustments on defense and he's a defensive coach. He's just an enthusiastic coach that loves to motivate his players and he knows a lot of football on a base level.but the talent that he would bring in because of his optimism always helped him in the pros and in college. The problem was Russell wanted an offense tailored towards him and Pete Carroll wanted a system that doesn't take risks. Although that's similar to the philosophies that Mike Tomlin has in his system. Arthur Smith system is being explored in ways it never has. And Mike Tomlin confidence in Russell it's something Russell never had. Neither years in Denver. Because the first year it was meant to look like Russell was going to create the culture. But Nathaniel hackett's offense was built for Aaron Rodgers and they tailored things to russ within that offense but because everybody was so injured that first year you couldn't do the things you can do in a Green Bay packer offense. You didn't have good enough offensive lineman then. That change when Sean Payton got hired because that's the first thing he fixed. But he didn't respect Russell from the jump felt like Russell was fake Russell was a diva. And so when Russell was trying to get an understanding of the coach's brain Sean Payton got annoyed. With sean he's like I know what you can't do so you're going to do this within my offense. And this is a run first offense. And kind of treated Russell like a backup quarterback his whole tenure. So they rarely took shots downfield and that held Russell back. Plus Sean Payton was out of the league for 2 years so his play calling was a little rusty. But how this did help Russell was understanding the quick game better. Being aware of the play clock playing while your fans may boo. I mean he lost his mental coach so there was a lot of adversity and disrespect on Denver that he mentally was takin on for the first time. Now we see Pete Carroll is gone so Russell wasn't wrong. And what he wanted all along is on Pittsburgh. It's nothing wrong with running the ball it's how creative are you doing it. So you can be able to pass out of the same formations and get the matchups that show the most out of his skill set. It's just a better fit then it even was in 2020 when he was with Seattle. He loves Seattle no place will treat you like the place that drafted you. But it got to feel good to be in Pittsburgh right now because they're all hard workers and he's a hard worker. The getting along with teammate thing is overblown. You're talking about bringing a kid in that never had to be a leader before. That got disrespected in practices all the time like most vets do. And once those vets got replaced then he was able to show his leadership in Seattle. When he went to Denver he automatically went to the captains and all of the leaders and best players and he definitely had a bond with them. They would go to games together and different events. And being in Pittsburgh he's bonded with this team as well. It really was just Michael Bennett, Richard Sherman, and people that had influence that was saying that stuff
people dogshamed him last season, eventho he went 28td and 6 int. 6 game winning streak with denver. ppl still dogwalked him not knowing it was sean peyton the whole time. final straw was when sean peyton scolded him live on prime time and russ didnt even bark back… now everything came to light…
I literally pause this video to shut it down as this guy is trying to convince everyone how relatable he is.
this guy Breer is full of it. He DOESN'T know Russ. Lotta guys he's played with are ALL positive. You and the rest of you are full of it. You guys doing podcasts are all missing it. Russ IS a square… look at what those who APPRECIATE who he is "get". Just live YOUR freegin' Life. Find quote from Metcalf.
Russ was NOT HUMBLED!! These commentators just don't want to be wrong!! Russ is in a situation that actually wants him there!!
This guy really wanted to talk about himself. He used Russ to gloss himself.
Bro I don’t know how yall listen to these dudes literally a bunch of opinionated nerds…
How about Sean Payton just didn’t know wtf he was doing?? Russ was playing well in Denver, he got benched.
3:56 LOL , I have a background in social science, so speak and think that way NOW. What u just said is ???able
10:51 WAIT what, ? A playoff win is a big win , no matter the opponent,
Everyone’s a critic! Russell has played in this league and breaks all kinds of records when he takes the field. He has ZERO to prove to anyone at this point, He is HOF. Period ‼️
11:09 so you're basically placing all this pressure on 1man , so if things doesn't go as u saying now! Russ, should get all the blame by yo standards right now? Correct?
These guys are incredulous lol. They weren’t wrong about Wilson, he was wrong about himself lol. They just can’t admit being completely wrong. They also hate that so called football geniuses that they slurped regularly didn’t grab up Wilson for basically nothing.
That’s a terrible take from Albert Breer‼️ Prima-donnas have ALWAYS been in the league for yearssss. I hate how people like Albert shun always from the facts that the coach in Denver didn’t like Rus and the organization created a narrative to have reason not to pay him. You don’t change your entire character after 1 year. Russ has always been the same as we see him in Pgh. I’ve learned that people HATE GOOD CHRISTIAN GUYS. Because by default it mirrors their own deficiencies
Pittsburgh loves hard workers. Russ just needed a good leader and encouragement from the best fan base in the universe.
Ummm, for someone that not "blowing your own horn" it does sound like it happens often in this video
What kind of psyco babbel is this ? Russ is a God fearing, family man that can flat out Ball!
People just make stuff up about him, was never a diva. We know the real reason people wanted to discredit him.
Man I feel like these people can’t wait for Russell to have a bad game. The hate is real.
Why are these guys still talking about Russ in Denver get a life ketchup to current events ESPN type clowns
