[Auman] Bucs would have to finish on a tear to make the playoffs after a 4-6 start, but it happens. Three teams did it just last season — Bucs, Rams and Packers — and Jaguars made it from 3-7 in 2022, Eagles did it in 2021, Washington from 3-7 in 2020.

  1. None of these teams went very far though at best winning a wildcard game and losing in the second round :/ But Bucs did knock the 2021 Eagles out of the playoffs so that was fun.

  2. I said this in another post but I’d rather lose out and kick Bowles to the curb vs. squeak into the playoffs, get bounced in the first round and then have to keep Bowles around for another year.

Love ya, Bucs, but this is for the betterment of the team in the long run.

  3. No. Don’t make the playoffs. If we make the playoffs Todd bowles won’t get fired. Call me a doomer. But lose out and get this bum canned. Hope we can get the best corner on the board.

But please beat the giants. I fucking hate the giants so much

  4. It’s not enough for us to win, others must lose too.

I think not losing a single game means we have a chance.

    If we lose one…eeeeh

  5. To what end? Does anybody think this coaching staff is going to lead a team to a Super Bowl? If not, then let’s stop wasting our time.

  6. We have the easiest schedule we could possibly have. A clear path to the playoffs. A story book ending set up.

Which means we’re gonna find a way to fuck it up somehow.

  7. The schedule is favourable but defensively it’s so bad that Minshrw and Jones will probably have a career day

  8. Think the nfc is a lot tougher this year. 10-7 may not get in this year, last year 9-8 did. If 9-8 somehow makes the playoffs I think Tampa gets in, but that’s very unlikely.

  9. I’m always for wanting to win, but idk. I think I’d rather have Bowles retire at the end of the season and have Coen take over as HC. If certain things have to happen for that to occur, might not be a bad idea.
