Perhaps the Devils will sign Igor Shesterkin following the 2025 NHL Entry Draft if the Rangers don’t sign him to a long-term deal.

This team has other problems than the goalie. Spend the money to replace Mika or Kreider or someone else but save the money and don't sign Igor

You don't know the importance of a world class goalie
The Rangers have no choice. Otherwise he walks. A lot of their team is older so they cannot just retool. True they are probably not good enough to win the Cup right now but if they lose Igor they will be even further away. They need more speed and a shutdown defenseman, The good news is the Cap should keep coming up but they do need to draft well and make a few trades. If they sign Igor they will have almost no money to sign free agents in the offseason.
Sal never asked her if Rangers let Igor walk. Then what? Sign a free agent goalie? They don't have a stud goalie in Hartford or playing in college.
He wants too much $$$$ and with our terrible def and not having the $$$$ to upgrade if we give Igor 12mill a year then he'll just get shelled by the big dog teams reg season/playoffs like he is now. What good is a 12mill$$$ goalie if our def hangs him out to dry most games??? Pointless. Mika and Troubas terrible contracts aren't helping either. Mika is trash now too.
