Christian McCaffrey calls out “Instagram doctors” who were wrong about his injury status

  1. Good. Too many pessimistic losers insinuating his career was over. Some people just need to learn to shut the fuck up and sit back

  2. Medical professionals can tell you what typically is happening with a particular injury and common outcomes, but always preface it with the caveat that they haven’t seen a specific player’s medical records. It’s informative and (some) people like learning new things. Anyone going farther than that is being silly. It’s just like sports analysts can speculate about a blown coverage or block, but will say they don’t know exactly what the play was so they are basing their analysis on the available information.

That said, does anyone believe for a second that if a doctor tells him 4-6 week recovery he isn’t thinking “I can do it in 3”?

  3. It amazes me how many comments you see giving the team and players medical advice. None of us have access to the actual medical information let the specialists handle that lmao

  4. You mean like your head coach who said you could’ve suited up against the Jets in week 1? Yeah ok.

  5. What everyone forgets is that these guys are athletes to the extreme with incredible PT, nutritionists, and crazy fitness levels prior to the injury. They work on their recovery full time, not just 30-60 minutes 3x a week for 12 insurance covered sessions. None of this is normal in 99.9% of the population. So yes, everyone has an opinion, but professional athletes are indeed unicorns.
