Yall think Deion stopping Travis from coming here?

  1. Ending result would be taking an OL in the top 5. Damn shame they’d try to protect their franchise QB instead of a DB.

  2. I thought he’d just protect his son from going somewhere he didn’t like, not Travis. Did he say something about Hunter too?

  3. I mean… yeah probably. This may be controversial but we drafted BTJ last year. Why would we draft another WR? It just feels superfluous. We have way more pressing positions that need filled.

  4. Matters who’s the GM/coach but even then Shad doesn’t take well to threats and he’s one of the richer owners in the game so he’ll draft who we wants and probably just buy off Sanders on the side.

  5. Yes

Trick some poor sap into giving us a nice package of picks and use them to build out either side of the line.

  6. Deion’s not his dad lol I don’t see him “stopping” anything that’s not related to shedeur

  7. Let’s pull a bears and trade back with a team like the raiders or dolphins and get a bunch of draft capital to fill out the big holes in our roster.

  8. No, I think he’s talking more about places like the Raiders where they have no idea what they’re doing at any point. It all depends on who we hire.

Anyone who says anything else just wants to cry, tbh. As we’ve seen the past 2 years, even if you think Shad Khan is the big bad dumbass owner, you can still get winning seasons with the right crew. No team is doomed forever.

If you want to feel bad for yourself perpetually, feel free to! just not here. Cry to yourself.

  9. The top 10 on this list are probably a list of the top 10 most dysfunctional teams in the past decade lol. He’s gonna tank this man’s draft stock that hard?

  10. If we clean house early and FINALLY get a competent staff I don’t see why he would…we’re smack dab in the middle of Travis’s two hometowns. If we don’t (which is extremely likely) run the price up for a bunch of draft capital…

  11. From what we’ve heard from Deion, I don’t think the Jaguars are one of the teams he’d try to block from selecting Travis. Especially if there’s a new GM/coach in place. The Jaguars desperately need OL help and CB help, so I’d be good with Travis at one, or trading back and selecting the best OL available. Of course, this all depends on the Jaguars actually having the number one pick, which, if Trevor is back after the bye and Doug/Press is gone, might not happen. There are several games left on the schedule that “should” be wins, but then again, we’ve seen this team shit the bed in so many winnable situations lately, it also wouldn’t surprise me if they didn’t win another game all season.

  12. Imo I don’t think Travis is the right pick at #1. He can do 2 things pretty good but at the #1 pick, what is he great at enough to warrant that #1 pick?

  13. I don’t want Travis Hunter.

Dude is a phenomenal athlete. But I can’t imagine taking someone at one with all the wear already on him

Look. If we do get the first overall this year. I hope their are QB needy teams at 4 or below

Trade is a haul for the next few years.

As long as Baalke isn’t there of course.

  14. Wasn’t there a deal a few years ago where a coach was part of a trade where there were draft picks involved. Maybe it was Gruden. Could we trade the top pick for a coach?

  15. This is tough for me. Travis is generational (yes I know Trevor was too), and I really would love to see him on this team. But damn do we need somebody able to block and give Trevor some time.

  16. I get that we need OL but taking BPA is never a bad idea!! Wouldn’t hate a trade down but taking Travis at #1 and then attacking OL and secondary (mainly safety) is fine w me
