  1. Idc we lost, mcdavid is gonna be seeing wedgewood under his bed tonight. On serious note tho, that was likely the best game Wedgewood will have as a Predator and we still managed to lose cause the team was flat in front of em…

  2. If they play like that for the rest of the road trip then someone’s gonna be taking a different plane home by the end of it. Not sure who that someone is but shit’ll get shook up.

  3. On one hand that game should be a huge confidence boost for Wedgewood. Straight up the reason why they got to OT

On the other hand the fact that we held the Oilers to two fucking goals through 60 minutes and couldn’t win is such a waste.

  4. The positives: 4th line was great, got a point, Wedgewood did well, Del Gaizo looked good

The negatives: basically the entirety of the second and third period, the first line was invisible, Colton Sissons

  5. I’ll take the point, but good God, I hope this team wakes up and plays tomorrow night.

  6. How much longer must this go on before Brunette is gone? They can’t even see mediocrity from the bottom of that hole they dug themselves into.

  7. Despite what the boomers are saying that was a really good game. We started off strong in the first but took some stupid penalties. We always seem to start a period on the PK. The second we kinda collapsed but we held strong in the 3rd. Goal Smith. ZLH was zipping around hungry. I can’t wait for his first goal. Between this game and the last you can literally see the things starting to click together

  8. That was the game for me. We are awful. Like, I’ll still be watching. But damn. Such a dissapointing team.

  9. This team is slow and boring. Almost once a shift you see someone either start a breakaway and get caught by a faster Oiler. Or my favorite, an Edmonton player dumps the puck in and then just skates around our player to establish the zone.

No wonder we’re so bad against the rush. We’re too slow to combat it.

It’s pretty telling that, if you look at the shift report, Tomasino – Pars – Evangelista had very few minutes in the first but then got TONS of shifts after the 2nd goal came in. They’re literally the only quick line on the team. They played almost half the minutes of the third.

Trotz has got to do his “accelerated rebuild” plan or whatever the fuck he’s calling it. Kemell and Svechkov need to come up. This team needs to get younger, faster, hungrier. We’re too old, too slow, and they’re showing WAY too much deference to our vets who just aren’t producing at the rate they need to.
