Good rebound from a tough loss the other night. Good for Mika getting a goal. Let's get a winning streak.
New york rangers always wins!
There's a lot to be proud of. They played a tight game with a Top 5 team in the league. The Sharks are still learning how to put together a complete 60. That 6 minutes in the 2nd, when they completely forgot how to play hockey, cost them the game and wasted what was a terrific 1st period. Two main things cost them this game:
1. Trying to Be Fancy: Too many times the Sharks passed the puck when there were open looks at the net. Shoot the damn puck! That pathetic 3-on-1 best exemplifies this. Even when they were down 2 goals with 1 minute left they passed the puck around for 30 seconds. Where's the urgency?!
2. Unforced Errors: The Sharks must cut down the needless giveaways in the neutral zone and their own end.

This was a struggle win for the rangers. They're going to need to play better come January.
