  1. The oline isnt good right now but geno holds the ball and becomes a statue way to often. Everyone wants to act like the oline is all of the problem but it really comes down to the combination of the two. They need a different type of qb until they get the oline fix.

  2. Give him a 1 year extension. draft a rookie and bring in a 3rd qb to fight for the backup job. Let the rookie sit for 1 year (rookie qbs have had a rough go recently).

  3. I'd rather take the last pic and select a qb and start him than extend em. I love the guy for what he's done. But thats what he is with us, done. It worked out well for the niners though 😂

  4. Geno's problem is he has no protection its not Genos fault! Id like to see one of these top college QBs behind our offensive line? that would be a good laugh!

  5. I had some bad thoughts about geno but i have changed my mind since i have no problem with him being here the next 4 years untill we have a guy that we absolutely love. But dk na i cant with that dude

  6. IVE SLEPT ON IT AND HERE IT IS IF I MEAN IF BIG IF IF GENO SMITH TAKES US TO THE PLAYOFFS AND TO THE SUPERBOWL WIN OR LOSE I BELIVE IN HIM HE HAS TO DO THIS SEASON OR IF CURTAINS I HAD ENOUGH THIS IS HIS SHINNI G MOMENT LIFE OR DEATH GENO SMITH CANT PULL THROUGH THAM YRADE HIS ASS FOR A BIRGER AND FRIES SMALL COKE

  7. There's a difference between making excuses for a QB's poor stats and being honest about extreme environmental impacts outside of his control in your assessment of him. Does Walker suck because we can't run the ball this year? What's the difference?

  8. Only extend Geno if it's a super team friendly deal. If not we need to move on. Having said that we have bigger issues than QB and we should not be drafting a QB in the first round

  9. I think we should let Geno walk let Sam Howell play next year. Use the money you saved on smith for some o-line help then draft a qb in '26. Protect the damn Qb!

  10. I honestly feel like. We gone resign geno. We gone have another lack luster year. John gone get fired we got get a new gm. And then we gone fix the oline an go from there. Hopefully arch manning. My fantasy

  11. You extended Geno for 1 more year because it frees up 19 mil in cap space you only pay him 30 mil. You extend DK free up 13.5 mil and cut Dremont jones which saves 16.5 mil that’s gives you almost 50 mil in cap space so you can sign some free agents and pay draft picks.

  12. Here’s my argument
If we the offensive line are actually protecting geno and he’s not getting sacked BUT he plays poorly ?
Yes start to question is he worth an extension
We can’t place blame solely on geno cause the guys can’t protect him !
