Yeah washer isnt washed it just the o-line is strugling to sustian blocks and he doesmt have the connection with the wr
It’s like the Jets have stolen the Bears offense
Rodgers and Adams are nothing without a coaching staff.
The Jets just don't push the ball down the field. Their field goal drives were both 13 play drives, and the longest single play on either drive was 14 yards! Every Cardinals' scoring drive was shorter. Also, the Jets' longest single play was 16 yards on a pass interference. Their longest actual play was a 15 yard catch in garbage time. Continually forcing the offense to play short yardage plays makes it way more difficult since there are way more opportunities for the defense to make a play that ends a drive.
On the other hand, Arizona had 7 plays over 17 yards, with their longest being 44 yards. Just a ridiculous difference between two offenses.
Woody Johnson should hire Louis Riddick as the next NY JETS GM and Kliff Kingsbury as the next HQ.
He is currently an NFL and college analyst with "football" connections.
I watched Riddick call a college game last weekend with Bob Wischusen, and he’s extremely knowledgeable.
Riddick would know which college players to draft and which NFL free agents to sign because he has watched them play and spoken to them as a game-day analysis.
Damn Baker sucks😂
JLo still whining & balling her eyes out???,..😮
You are very forgiving of the number of missed opportunities that AR & The Jets have had in the past game. They are just excuses, the Jets really suck. Once again the Jets need to blow it up.
Rodgers issues are these:
1. Lack of mobility leads to him not being able buy more time and resulting in quick short passes.
2. The achilles and his bad technique is causing him not to step into throws and is falling backwards, leading passes that fall short or are inaccurate.
3. He wants a static offense so he can read defense and check into different plays. Garret has said Rodgers has over 50 hand gestures to signal to receivers adjustments. This complexity and last minute changes cause miscommunications where the WR and QB aren't on the same page. Without creative pre snap motion they're relying on WR sheer athleticism to get open. It often results in throwing into tight windows that gets even harder as the field compresses in the red zone.
In general the successful teams have mobile QB with dual threat to run the ball and have more innovative scheme than the Jets. For example, I believe Murray ran for two TDs in this game. The Jets look old, slow and predictable. I can't see them being able to change that.
All of this adds up to an offense the struggles to stretch the field, be consistent and score.
Had the kicker not caused the Jets 3 games. The topic right now would be can the Jets catch up to the Bills and still win the AFC East.
After watching this, the early end zone plays are definitely mainly on rodgers. Especially the second one. The route Adams chose, had more room for him to operate, further away from the defender, AND more room for error on the qb’s part in terms of accuracy.
I’m actually impressed with Adam’s game in this one.
breece hall sees limited usage i think contributes or run game in general
The O line is trash. That is all.
in my 25 years of watching football i have never heard of a team firing their coach mid season, then making an all-in trade. The Jets are the dumbest franchise of all time. The browns are nextdoor neighbors.
please keep making content of the jets sucking. sincerely, a patriots fan.
The offensive line played badly all game, & Davante Adams did not come to play obviously after looking at your breakdown. He let down Rodgers multiple times in big moments. People blaming Rodgers for the loss are pure haters and casuals lol
unfortunately for the Jets, kAaron has not been able to immunize himself from making terrible throws…
They suck…what’s the mystery…no need for a 8 minute explanation….we have all been watching…they suck…2 words were all you needed you boob.
Qaron should’ve spent more time studying the playbook and less time golfing at marolargo
Your first example was not at all the fault of Adams. Ball was way out of bounds.
Bro got old and went full Republican.
As a Packers fan, I recall that in Rodgers' last two seasons in Green Bay, the Packers had trouble scoring in the red zone. Watching the Jets' red zone replays brings back bad memories.
One of the main problems, with the many many problems, was forcing it to Adams when Garret or Conklin is open and Garret just had a great game last week and clearly has the hot hand
I don't think the Rodgers/Adams connection is surviving in the face of 1) Adams playing out of the slot, instead of being an outside receiver, and 2) Rodgers' intermittent inaccuracy. Whether it's because of his Achilles injury or something else, I don't know. One thing that's clear is that he can't extend plays like he could before his injury. It reminds me a bit of watching Zach Wilson who would hit his peak at about the 4th or 5th game of the season and then start to deteriorate — Wilson constantly was being chased around, and before long a person is going to at least subconsciously change their form to try to protect themselves.
Rodgers is getting hit way more often than he's accustomed to. That's going to screw up your mechanics — I don't care who you are. It was the way to get past Brady in the playoffs — just keep hitting him, and he'd tighten up and start missing guys.
Rodgers seems to be a one-read QB in 3rd down situations. It's like he has made up his mind who he will throw it to in 75% of 3rd down situations. It's Adams now. Before Adams, it was WIlson. And if his #1 is not possible, it's a checkdown with a low probability of getting a 1st down. Also, he seems to throw way too many 50-50 passes in situations that are more like 25-75. On the goal line, they are not running pick plays that usually get the TD. And the defense sucks as well. The Jets have an amazing roster but a horrible team. I canceled my season ticket renewal and have put the rest of the games for resale.
If you've ever believed your bad team is "a QB away," you should be forced to watch this Jets season Clockwork Orange style
I was really interested in seeing how Rodgers would evolve his game, as his two biggest strengths (scrambling, throwing to the outside while mostly ignoring the middle of the field) have been taken away by father time and the proliferation of the 2-deep shell. He doesn't seem to be adjusting well, and I think it comes down to his stubborn ego. It's week 9 and he is still scrambling around as if he hasn't realized he is old and slow and the results have been a catastrophe.
Do the Jets actually practice plays?
The Jets are what happens when you don't have good coaching. Defensive-minded head coach Saleh left and now the Jets suddenly have a mediocre to bad defense when that was their strength. You need stability and coordination in a football organization. You can have the most talented players in the world, but if you don't have a good game plan and everyone's not on the same page, you get the Jets.
Actually using a top 3 rb in breece hall might help. Regardless of game script, if they used him in the beggining they would have probably had a tighter game and better chance at winning
Rogers is averaging just over 4 yards per attempt.
