Still can’t figure out what happened on those two deep balls in the Ravens game. On the first it looked like he lost the ball. On both of them, it didn’t look like he was running full speed. That was the costly 4th and 2.
Sounds like he had his rock bottom moment and trying to start the upswing. Luck is just the intersection of good preparation combined with good timing. He’s in the NFL, so the timing is already there now he just needs to put in the work.
He literally has a job as a WR2 next year if he shows up the rest of the season. It’s there for him and he’s completely screwing it up
This interview was refreshing. The questions were thoughtful and polite. It wasn’t just baiting him about mistakes and gossip. Burton had the ability to have an actual conversation without feeling harassed. He doesn’t seem like an awful kid like so many claim he is. Just needs to stay dialed in and focused. I think he’s finally doing that.
How about on learning to run routes?
That headline reads like he said it was a mistake to build trust with the players 😂
Zac Taylor isn’t perfect but the comments from Burton on him and Troy Walters are extremely telling. Everyone in that locker room wants to win and perform well for Zac. He’s built a great culture
I mean, he’s saying all the right things, but he was saying all the right things about his character before missing the walk through, too. Actions speak louder than words, and unfortunately, his actions haven’t matched his words yet. I’m not giving up on the kid just yet, but he still has a lot of growing up to do beyond just saying the right thing.
For some reason I think he blowing smoke up our asses. If he wants to show he is sincere, show it on the field.
a lot of great WRs never got to play with a QB like Joe. guy doesn’t know how lucky he is
So what was the reason he didn’t show up? Hangover? Stage fright?
