  2. As I think about this, there really was no downside to this trade. The NBA draft is a lot LESS of a crap shoot than the other sports. We’ve got 5 shots in the next 5 years to at the top of the draft to draft a player equivalent to a borderline All-Star at best. It was a no- brainer.

  3. What's the delay trading DS??? An unrestricted Free agent..that wants to get paid and compete! He is NOT a longterm piece…so why are we allowing him to potentially crush our lottery dreams? EMBRACE the TANK please….TANK YOU!

  5. "Steal of The Century?" I think Marks giving up a lot of assets to acquire Harden. To add insult to injury, than trading Harden for Ben Simmons. It's absurd to think the trade of Mikal to the Knicks is in this range considering how early it is in the season.

  7. The top3-5 of this draft is coveted!! Especially the top2/3…..Nobody picking in the top 3/4 will trade out…that's why you HAVE to have 1 of those picks be your own…Won't be able to package up into the top this year!!!!!!!

  8. Regardless of who got the steal of the century, the Nets have a GM that don't have a history of a long term commitment to coaches, players, or direction. Jordi didn't get a long term contract and Marks still might be tempted to go star chasing. We'll see.
