Have you guys ever considered how great it is to be a fan of a team with the best colors, logo and nickname in the NHL?
No matter everything else, they can’t take that away from us.
Imagine trying to be a fan of a team with the logo and nickname of the Senators. Ugh.
Lots of positives to take away. We look good in our last 10 games. I hope this trend continues. Looking forward to getting back in my seats on Saturday night!
I’m not into the whole “deserved to lose” thing. The fact is we were down 4-2. Our goalie played better than our skaters. Some days our skaters are better than our goalie. Some days both are about the same. But either way we effectively scored 3 unanswered goals to win the game. That’s not lucky. You have to play all 3 periods and the game has smaller games within it. Great win, punctuated by the GWG coming from Michkov.
The orange kool aid runs deep on Reddit. This is exactly the type of win that fools feel good about. They were horrible. Drafting 11th is going to do this team wonders.
I’m happy when they win, but totally cool with them not winning now. It’s the first time in my life I’m just excited about the team’s future and don’t want to eat bullet when they’re playing like ass.
I’m hoping for some big trade deadline moves too. Out with the old and in with the new please. This draft & offseason should be pivotal for the shift from sucking to not sucking. I’m ready!
I mean, yeah, they basically won that game because of Ullmark. But those goals happened, and the plays that set them up too. They took very few shots but I think the general quality was quite good.
Richard could 100 percent turn into a full time bottom 6 producer. His 82 game average comes out to 18 goals and 18 assists. That would be a heck of a decent season. He’s put up some good offensive depth in the times he’s been on NHL rosters, hopeful he hits some kind of potential here, I’m a fan already
