I think that’s a testament to our Defense being pretty good in general. Not great yet, but good. I filtered the same page for TO’s and we’re 23rd. If we could keep taking the ball away without giving it back ourselves, we’d be on the right track!
And Matisse hasn’t even been playing
Chauncey said he is pushing Sharpe to be more disruptive and he has gotten a lot more steals.
Aside from that both Murray and Scoot are also being way more disruptive. I’ve loved what I’ve seen from Murray. Grant has also played good defense lately, he was legitimately great against Wemby.
I see this and think, if we keep this defensive intensity and a couple guys start hitting shots…this is going to be a really fun team to watch. I’m still team tank but I truly believe there’s a way to tank where it doesn’t feel like the Memphis game every time we lose. We can capture the Flagg while creating a culture of dawgs and forming an incredible jump off point for 25-26
