If we make the playoffs there is no way Todd gets fired. But even with that I hope we win out.
Everyone saying Bowles wont get fired after making the playoffs see.s to have forgotten Dungy got fired after making the playoffs. Albeit the game was a blowout, but that could also happen.

I think there is WAY too much out there right now about “if the Bucs win out against this easy schedule they could make the playoffs”. I am definitely the audience for this coverage and love the “so you’re telling me there’s a chance!” mentality. BUT we are a team that thrives as the underdog and buckles once we have any expectations at all. So I think all this coverage on the easy schedule and that the Bucs could make a run is making that an expectation and setting us up for failure. Everyone needs to forget about us! Once we are afterthoughts, then we will turn into a juggernaut LOL.

Having said all that, if Bowles pulls the above off, and gets us a win in the playoffs, fuck yeah he should keep his job.
Anything more than 1 loss is definitely game over for this team. I don’t even feel super confident 10-7 will be good depending on tiebreakers. At least half our losses so far to AFC teams that don’t hurt tiebreakers. If there was one more game left to lose the rest of the way, either the Raiders or Chargers one would be best case scenario.
Looking at the schedule it’s not totally impossible with the way Baker is playing. But it also feels like a longshot with the way the defense is playing.
As much as I would love to go to the playoffs where anything can happen, a couple embarrassing losses in this pathetic stretch of schedule and missing them would be the best shot of Bowles getting fired so I’m kinda torn lol.
Maybe if TODD stop acting like his “scheme “ is so difficult to learn , clearly it’s not becuase every other team has you figured out
*play the CB we just picked up anything better than Hayes and funderburk
*start using 3 safeties the minute Mike Edwards walks into that locker room drop one of our tight ends to PS to make room
*If Mike isn’t ready don’t force him we need him healthy at minimum for NFC and divisional games let him sit in the chargers for all I care
* have a serious talk with the wide receiver room Cade is getting f UPPED out there and needs help no way a tight end is literally getting more separation than our actual receivers see what’s going on next man up
* let wirfs heal thru the giants we don’t need him that bad
I don’t think Todd is a great coach but yall quickly forget or weren’t around for the dog shit we had after gruden. It’s not easy finding a good coach, and this roster is weak after all that dead money coming off books.
That being said the grass isn’t always greener, if he can make a deep playoff run, he absolutely deserves to be back.

Bucs can go 7 and 0, grab the 7 seed and head to Philly for a Saturday night game in the Wild Card round. Sounds like a great time to me. Not sure the Bucs would have too much fun though. I would like them against any other team on the road though. I mean all they need to do is just be bad on defense and not historically terrible and they might do it. Unfortunately I see a loss to the Giants and Chargers looming. It’s been a fun season for sure. A bunch of what ifs

Getting six wins in seven games with the schedule we have shouldn’t be a problem. Keyword there is shouldn’t though. We only have one game against a team over 500, which is a road game against the chargers
