he was never ready to come back this past season, not sure why the organization ever entertained it. Get well soon but don’t come back til you’re really ready.

If MLB wants to keep the pitch clock they need to expand rosters to 2-4 spots to add more SP and RP. being rushed to pitch then only getting 4-6 days rest isn’t good for the body as evident with the rampant number of injuries.
Hoping he can be ready for the playoffs as that is when he will be most needed.
Silver lining this gives a runway for Dustin May, Edgardo Henriquez, and maybe Nick Frasso to establish themselves on the big league roster in the 1st half
Also another is Jack Dreyer can finally get his chance with the big league team. Been knocking on the door for a while
ElAttrache is running up a BAG this offseason 😅. Hope Bazooka has a way healthier 2025 tho was super cursed this year

The Athletic just pinged me saying he’s expected to miss the first half of 2025, so I’m assuming the 60-day IL is imminent.
